Traveling during the holidays can really be a challenge, especially with kids. So, when we arrived to our vacation chalet on Timp Haven in Sundance, we were anxious to relax. Upon arrival, we found the house warm and inviting with Christmas decorations both inside and outside! Not to mention the Christmas music playing in the background. Mother Nature had done a fantastic job on her own with adorning the house with icicles and snow. It was absolutely perfect! Any travel stress was forgotten!! Vicki with Stewart Mountain Lodging met us shortly after arrival after guiding us along the way to find groceries and the local "libations" store. You have to purchase alcohol from a State Liquor store. Not a big issue since it was along the way. The house was clean, warm, and nicely decorated, and we even found board games and books available for just hanging out next to the fireplace. Day 2, our friends arrived from Salt Lake City to visit with their kids and Vicki showed us an awesome place to sled and enjoy the zipline her family had set up. KIDS LOVED IT!!. She also, very thoughtfully, gave us a fruit basket filled with goodies to enjoy. It really felt like OUR home and we so hated to leave. Next time, we definitely should stay longer. Brad & Vicki - Thank you for helping us have a delightful stay at Sundance. We rent a home every summer and have enjoyed many wonderful places, but this home is our favorite so far. We loved all the outdoor space -- the sport court, lawn, hot tub, fireplace, and deck. We never needed to leave for fun. And the setting could not have been more beautiful. It is truly a special place. Please pass along our thanks to the owner. And the two of you are GREAT to work with. Thanks for your friendly welcome and constant attention. We recently came from NJ to UT for our son’s wedding at Sundance. Even though we were a small family we needed plenty of room. This lovely chalet met all our needs during our recent 5 days stay. I am sitting here now remembering how much we enjoyed this cozy yet spacious chalet. The evening warmth by the outdoor fireplace making Marshmallow s'mores, all the guys playing basketball for hours, and the luxury of hot tub to relieve stress (my personal fav). Plus all the special amenities like the cozy furnishings, comfy beds, luxurious towels and bedding, and fully appointed kitchen. It was very accommodating for us as we welcomed and entertained our son’s new family members. Everything was truly exceptional and we have a mountain of wonderful memories. Speaking of mountains, those beautiful views were magnificent and only a doorstep away. Vicky from the Stewart Mountain Lodging – you are a STAR for helping me find the right home’s for this special occasion. I have very high standards and anyone reading through reviews please know, I highly recommend Stewart Mountain Lodging if you are planning to stay in Sundance. Sundance is a magical and majestic place. We hope to return some day soon.
