Located on the famous North Shore of Oahu and just a short walk to Waimea Bay Beach. Our vacation rental is located in an small residential neighborhood in a quiet cul de sac with no through traffic. Sidewalks and streetlights make this a child friendly, welcoming environment for your families enjoyment. The unit has a partial ocean view, where you can relax listening to the ocean surf.
Whether you are enjoying island living while barbecuing on the lanai, taking short scenic walks to the beach or kicking back and enjoying a surf movie on the flat screen television, you will feel as though you are home.
We offer affordable accommodations for a traveling family. A fully equipped kitchen includes: blender, coffee maker, microwave, pots, pans, and a outdoor gas BBQ. Our neighborhood has little foot traffic and is safe/secure. There is some traffic noise from the highway behind the house.
We have a legally permitted unit so there is no need to worry if the current enforcement of unlawfully operating units will affect you or your vacation. The unit is approximately 1,000 square feet plus a lanai. The master bedroom has a king bed, one bedroom has a queen bed and the other bedroom has two twin beds. Two full bathrooms. Each bedroom has a 32 inch flat screen TV with cable.
Tastefully decorated with the comforts of home. Our vacation rental is part of a large house with two separate floors, each a completely separate unit. This vacation rental is on the 2nd floor.
We are located between Sunset Beach and the historic town of Haleiwa, surrounded by some of the world's most beautiful beaches. The award winning TV series LOST was filmed just down the road. Sea turtles and lots of exotic sea life are seen all along this coastline. Just a few of the nearby activities are: surfing, snorkeling, fishing, diving, kayaking, hiking, and shell hunting.
A short distance in either direction are world class golf courses, basketball courts, parks, tennis courts, cultural centers, sky diving, shark tours, sailing, horseback riding, great restaurants, unique shopping, and many more activities. This rental is in a great location with ocean views. Reasonably priced and comfortable as home.

The home was great. The view was wonderful. We were able to see whales slapping their tails a few days. The home was clean and well stocked. All the staff we came in contact with were very helpful and friendly. We went to Haliewa for dinner at Joes steak house. Very good. Our favorite attraction was going to the shark cage dive in Haliewa. Great experience. Also enjoyed the Dole plantation maze. Only complaint is traffic noise is high. Don't know where all those people are going all night long. By the third night we were kind of used to it and able to sleep. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.Did you find this review helpful? House is beautiful and spacious! Location is excellent! Family with teenagers and a young child traveling from New Jersey and the view was excellent! Rooms are beautiful and there is a wrap around porch perfect for BBQing. Would definitely stay here next trip to Hawaii!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We were lucky to find this very nice rental at the last minute. It is in a very good location (more on this later) on the north shore just a couple of minutes walk from the ocean and just over the hill from Waimea Bay. You could walk to Waimea Bay along a very busy two lane highway (dangerous) or drive (less than a minute). This property is the second floor of a lovely two story home. The first floor is split into two units between another vacation rental and a long-term renter. This house has the advantage of a large gravel driveway with parking for at least three cars so you shouldn't need to fight for space on the crowded residential street. Also, since the unit is on the second floor, you have a gorgeous view of the ocean. The unit is nicely decorated with newer finishes and had most everything you should need including WiFi, cable, and flat-screen TVs. There were a couple of very minor maintenance issues when we checked in, but the manager had these fixed immediately - excellent customer service. The unit is not air conditioned (no window units even) which by itself is not a big issue since you can open up the windows and enjoy ocean breezes. But, the home is located just feet from busy Kamehameha Highway and the traffic noise during the day is very noticeable and almost constant. The traffic is much lighter at night, but you will still hear it. Overall we had a great time and enjoyed the unit. Why the Owner Chose Waimea Bay:
Waimea Bay has some of the most beautiful beaches on the island of Oahu. It is great for snorkeling in the non-winter months. Jump rock is great fun for the brave. The water is so clear and beautiful. The beach is very large and most of the bay is a sand bottom. There are few buildings around. Waimea Bay has a peaceful country feel.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Our unit is location in a small isolated neighborhood. Very little foot traffic. We have never had any problems with security. Waimea Bay is just next door to us. A short walk down the hill. This is especially nice since parking at Waimea Beach Park is VERY limited. Our unit has a small grassy yard out front which is great for kids. Also just a few hundred yards away is a incredible look out over Waimea Bay. This is a very private area where people rarely visit
