Perfect for our needs

Stayed for a weekend to attend activities at Cal Poly SLO with my daughter. The cottage was clean, quiet, and perfect for our needs. It's large in my opinion. Just 10 miles to SLO, and a very short drive down the hill to Morrow Bay Restaurants and activities (probably could have walked but were short on time). It is a cozy little neighborhood and the unit has a nice view of the Bay if you sit on the patio area above the unit. Christine and Rick were very nice too. I hope to return someday.

Wonderful Cottage in Nice Setting

We enjoyed our two days in the "Guest Cottage". Very clean, nicely appointed, plenty of light and lots of windows. View of the bay is limited but okay. It is a ten block walk to downtown and the Embarcadero but a very easy and short drive. Christine and Rick are friendly and considerate hosts. It will be our first choice when we return.

Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+.

This is a cute place! It is clean and well kept and the owners are super nice. A couple of negatives though. The furniture is garage sale quality and the bed is not very comfortable. Speaking of bed, it is situated right under two skylights which makes for an early morning wakeup! The television is tiny and the views to the ocean are all but obstructed. It's also quite a hike from the street parking to the cottage. But, for a reasonably priced, clean, quiet, private and overall comfortable place to stay, this is certainly a fine place.

We do want you to know that none of the furniture in the cottage has been purchased from garage sales. We hope to make the cottage "cute" and cozy with the look of a cottage feel. The TV is small but we want to complement the quietness of the neighborhood. I would like to stress to any of our prospective guests that they are welcome to park in our driveway at anytime, especially to load and unload their things. The driveway is 40 ft. long and around the house and up to the cottage constitutes another 65 feet. We actually have a lot of people saying they like the skylights over the bed. At one point we had the bed in another position and it wasn't as popular. We appreciate constructive criticism and always strive to make the cottage as welcoming as possible. Christine & Rick

Great little cottage

I enjoyed my time at this cute, clean and comfortable cottage. The place was immaculate, and way more spacious than I expected. The location is close to stores, restaurants and the waterfront.The owners are unobtrusive and you feel as if you are on the property alone. The neighborhood is quiet and stars at night are amazing! The only thing I will say and this is not really a negative, if you want to sleep late, bring a sleep mask because the place is bright and sunny all day :) I hope to visit again.

We've stayed here for the last two summers and are planning our next vacation here again! We have enjoyed every minute of our vacations and it's wonderful to come "home" to a cozy place after a day of sightseeing. Great location - convenient to area attractions, clean and comfortable cottage. Perfect accommodations for a couple or single parent and child. Highly recommend!!

My husband and I have stayed here multiple times and will definitely be back again. The location is central to many areas of interest, and amenities. The cottage is clean and comfortably homey. Christine and Rick are wonderful hosts. Can't wait to be there again.
