  My family met my 2 sisters and their families from MN in Oak Island and we were all able to stay together at this property. It was our first time renting through VRBO and the first time we have been to Oak Island, NC! Very happy with the size of the house and the location to the beach is great! Mike was wonderful in answering all of our questions prior to arrival and gave us some good golf courses to check out. The house is in good shape but I would try to stock it with some better knives in the kitchen. We did all of our own cooking and missed a bigger cutting board and sharp knives. We had 6 teenagers and they were happy to be on the beach. They played games and watched movies indoors if it was too hot! Would recommend the house to friends and family, we had plenty of room and really enjoyed our stay! Thank you for the use of the home!

  My mom rented this house for a little family reunion with my brother, sister, and all of our family members (ranging in age from10m-60y, and everywhere in between) and it was wonderful! The house suited all of our needs perfectly. We joked the 3rd floor deck was 'the big crib' for my 10 month old daughter while the adults enjoyed a cocktail overlooking the view. The pier was a very close walking distance that we enjoyed several nights while the beach was a very short walk that we enjoyed daily. The only downside is that our wonderful, potty-trained dogs couldn't come but I understand why pets are usually not allowed. Otherwise, I would recommend this place to everyone and my mom said she might make this an annual event. Can't wait to go back!

  This home was absolutely amazing. The views were great, especially from the upstairs balcony. Everything that is advertised was true. The photos that were taken of the home were nice but didn't do it justice. There is plenty of room for everyone and if you want to get away, the short walk to the beach was perfect. Working with the owner was a great experience. He was helpful (and patient) with me as this was my first time using VRBO. I would recommend this home to anyone with a large family who want to experience a beautiful home and location. I promise you won't regret it!

  This home was ideal for our gathering. The photos are exactly what you expect in the home. The space was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. Outdoor shower was a bonus. We will return.

  Stayed in home for over a month and it felt as close to home as possible. Clean, comfortable, and convenient. I suggest for all.

  What a wonderful home, brand new, beautifully furnished, with every convenience of home, plus some (surround sound, HD TV, spacious decks and a short (really) walk to the beach. Looking forward to our stay next summer.

  Thanks for allowing us to stay in such a great house. The views from the top deck were amazing. We enjoyed starting and ending every day of our trip on the deck. The proximity to the beach access was a great plus. All of the amenities of the house were in top condition. The granite counters, stainless appliances, flat screen tv's in all bedrooms, surround sound and deck speakers were outstanding. The inverted floor plan with the big open space on the top floor made spending time with everyone very enjoyable. Overall the house was everything we were looking for in a family vacation. Thanks again, and we will be back next year!

  We had a great Time! Your house is a wonderful place to relax in comfort and it was beautiful! The room arrangements fit our family group just perfect. The older gentleman, who is 82 years of age, stayed in the upstairs room where he did not need to climb stairs for meals and he had a private bath and the baby could rest early in the evenings downstairs without any noise concerns. The TV's were great in all the rooms and the kitchen was very well furnished. Even with all of this, one of our favorite places was the covered porch and chairs upstairs. We really enjoyed our morning coffee, the baby running from end to end chasing a ball and our evening chats with our son and daughter in law. Just perfect. Thanks for choosing the home furnishing and options you provided. All made for a very pleasant time. Thanks again for sharing your wonderful home and we will be back!

  We highly recommend this home for families with small children. It is an easy one-block walk to the beach and the beach access path is paved all the way onto the sand, making it perfect for wagons and strollers. The home is thoughtfully appointed and the kitchen is well stocked with tools and cookware, including kid-friendly plates, bowls and silverware. All bedrooms have spacious double-door closets, perfectly sized to fit a standard Pack-N-Play, which is a feature that we greatly appreciated. The common spaces are nicely sized, as are the bedrooms, and the two porches have wonderful views. The only thing that might improve this already-great home would be another outdoor dining table on the upper porch. There is an 8-top dining table inside, but only a 4-top dining table outside, which limited our ability to have outdoor group dinners. But that's a small wishlist item when considering all of the things that the home DOES have, including a nice DVD collection and a large bin of board games!

If you get lucky early in the morning you can even see the dolphins swimming across the ocean. We are offering last minute discounts from the end of August through the fall.
