This was a great place to stay. The lagoon was beautiful, the pools were nice, the beach area was very pretty and the jetty was perfect for a quick fishing trip. The condo was furnished very nicely and had plenty of everything we needed to make it feel like home. The best thing about our trip was the location. Key Largo was a perfect middle spot between the southern tip of Florida and Key West. We were able to do a lot of different things on this trip because of that factor.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The welcome letter was very helpful to arrange all necessary steps to start in a vacation home. The "welcome wine" along with all towels, the clean kitchen and house in total were giving us a warm welcome. Your house is beautifully decorated and made it easy to feel like a home away from home. Kawana Club was a great vacation place with all, lagoon and pool and beach, were exactly what we were looking for. The golf cart took us to all places inside Kawama and was daily used (the kids loved it!!!). We can definetely recommend to everybody who is asking us about our trip to the keys. We wish you and your family all the best and a good time in your property. If you are looking for vaction accomodation on Key Largo dont look any further,this condo is excellent. Owners communication,location,comfort,swimming pools,lagoon all excellent. We enjoyed eleven days here and we would certainly stay again and would recommend this condo*****Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The first thing I want to say is Wow! You will not be disappointed in this vacation home. It's 10x more beautiful and nice than the pictures show. Our family stayed at this home from July 2nd - July 8th. From the moment we walked in to the beautifully decorated home to all the comforts or necessities you would need, this place was perfect and we were thrilled to have picked it. This was our first time using VRBO and let me tell you the owners are wonderful! Kathy was available to answer any questions we had and made you feel warm and welcomed in their home. They even had a box of brochures and a book of local restaurants to browse through. The beds are better than described! The fact that there were TV's in every room was a hug hit with our family. I can't say enough about how clean and well kept the place is. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice safe place to stay!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

After our long travel we were so very excited to get to our getaway destiny and even more elated once we opened the door for the first time. The place was spectacular!! It was clean and neat. It had everything we needed. The whole group absolutely loved it! We will definitely be back in the future. Thanks for letting our furry family member come along too! He loved lounging with us. I left an insulated cooler in one of the cabinets by mistake, but I am sure you and your guest can find a way to make use of it. It is handy for trips to the pool or beach :) so enjoy! Oh yeah...the grill was a wonderful treat as well. We got fresh seafood a few times from a close little market/restaurant and grilled it up. Amazing and wonderful treasures await you in this cozy and quaint condo!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed in this property from 26th May to 9th June 2012 and it was everything we expected and more. From the moment we walked through the door we felt right at home Kathy and Jon have made this place a wonderful place to spend a vacation and we did not want to leave.......... everything that you could wish for was there apart from a kettle (but that's an English thing!!!!!) The view from the master bedroom is lovely as is the rest of the house. I can honestly say that it is probably the best rental property we have stayed in and I really hope that we will be able to return again sometime. Thanks Kathy and Jon for sharing your home.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, sightseeing.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jon & Kathy's place. I was pleasantly surprised that there were no tell-tell signs that pets are allowed to stay in this unit, especially after reading some of the reviews of the other places on Trip Advisor. Hopefully our dogs didn't leave too many clues behind. Beach is very private. For the most part, we had the entire beach to ourselves. Would definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children, pet owners.

Comfy pillowtop mattresses, a fully equipped kitchen and a great location on the lagoon make this condo your best choice at Kawama. The thoughtful and friendly owners provide everything you will need for a pleasant stay - no detail is overlooked. The complex is conveniently located near groceries, restaurants, and many Keys attractions. Swimming in the lagoon was great! - much better than swimming in those tiny hotel pools. The golf cart made getting around a breeze. The flat panel HD TV was a hit with the men for basketball games during March madness! All this, and the sunsets were free.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway.

Rented this sweet townhome for January 2012. The unit lived up beautifully to its description. Clean and well maintained, lovely views and just right amount of Florida Keys charm. Proximity to Key Largo restaurants and activity is great. But there really is no need to leave the property if you'd prefer to relax without getting out much. The area is safe for walking, has two nice pools, a beach area at the internal lagoon which is suitable for snorkeling (saw some lovely large parrot fish) and another oceanside sandy area on the jetty. Definitely take a glass of wine to the jetty at sunset! If you like to eat out and love seafood (be sure to try yellowtail if you've never had it) Key Largo doesn't disappoint. Visit Snapper's for Sunday brunch on the water, Sundowner's for sunset dining, Hobo's for casual dining where the locals gather, the Fish House for delicious entrees and the Galley for breakfast and watching the dive boats go out. Within walking distance are Pilot House and Calypso (great fish tacos). The owner provided excellent directions and easy instructions for access and amenities. Highly recommend this rental.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway.

My family and I would highly recommend this rental. The accommodations (very clean, roomy, well-furnished, well-equipped kitchen and pleasant decor) and location (overlooking a lagoon, short walk to the marina on property and easy drive to Miami airport) were great. Very close to US 1 and restaurants, grocery stores, as well as, national parks with beaches, kayaking, etc.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our family had a great time in Key Largo. The townhouse was just perfect. Nicely decorated with all the amenities of home. Have been staying in Kawama every summer for many years and definetly one of the nicest places we've ever stayed at.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners.

We had such a wonderful time. Your place was very nice….very comfortable…felt like home. Our girls never wanted to leave! The only negative thing I would mention….it has nothing to do with your place…it’s about Kawama. We had a couple of issues getting through the gate because of the guard being on patrol.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Great place to stay comfortable clean well decorated, plenty of towels for showers and separate beach towels, kitchen has what you need to make meals and town home is located in the middle by the lagoon and walking distance to both pools.WiFi was a help for making plans and for the kids to keep in contact with there friends on there down time Great to have use of the golf cart to get to the ocean and the jetty, also can walk its not that far. shopping is near by as well as good reasturants (you do have to drive).charter boats are close if you like fishing. Family had a great time and would go back.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.
