Vacation Villas are luxuriously appointed and have beautiful island motifs with natural woods and heavy woven rattan pieces with soft golds, greens, rich adobe, and natural colors. You'll find breezy open floor plans large shady decks, gourmet kitchens and more. Enjoy swimming or hot tubing in the private pool or take a ride down to the beach on the beach bikes. Definite upscale appeal. Each Guestroom is equipped with DVDs and entertainment cabinets, premium beds and bedding, baths with pedestal sinks, laundry rooms and more. The master suites have a king feather top bed and bath with his and her pedestal sinks, shower and tubs. Premium linen, towels pool towels, are included as part of the all inclusive rental package.

To secure your reservation at Vacation Villas you will need to send a signed rental agreement and 25% of the rental fee. Call or e-mail us to request forms. The rental fee balance is due 30 days prior to you stay with a refundable one night security/damage deposit. No pets and no smoking allowed.

Relaxing by the private pool and spa

VRBO Bear stayed here - 02/20/2007 While many bears (and people) don’t think of going to South Padre Island during the colder months because most bears are hibernating during the winter, I like going during the off-peak season because it’s less crowded.

This home was much bigger than we imagined. The beds in all five bedrooms were so comfortable that Goldilocks couldn’t decide which one was the best. I got to stay in the master bedroom which was fit for a king. It has its own porch and bathroom with a jetted tub. But don’t be sad if you don’t get the master bedroom because this house has 4 other great bedrooms and the downstairs bedroom is really like another master bedroom.

Probably one of the best parts of this home is its private swimming pool and spa which is equipped with comfy chairs for sunbathing. The pool area and back yard are filled with beautiful flowers and lush landscaping. Mmmmm; you know that bears love hibiscus flower tea and honey, but I was on my best behavior and didn’t eat one flower (well maybe just one). Hibiscus House is located a beary quick walk (one-half a block) to the beach and is centrally located near stores and restaurants, some within walking distance.

We really enjoyed the kitchen which was used a gathering place for our group. Whether you’re looking to make breakfast in the morning, tropical drinks in the afternoon or a full gourmet meal for the family, this kitchen is equipped with everything that you could want and need.

Upon booking, the owners provided us with details about the home, check-in and check-out instructions, contact information for their local maintenance person, and a complete list of local attractions, restaurants and suggested activities. They take the guess work out of visiting a new destination. The hosts of this home have truly thought of every detail which makes for an extraordinary vacation. My stay in the Hibiscus House was beary nice, I am sure you will beary much enjoy it too.
