This home is perfect for a family, two couples traveling together or small surf crew. It is located at the end of the road in a quiet neighborhood in Playa Avellanas. It is surrounded by trees which provide homes to many of the native species of animals in Costa Rica: Howler monkeys, tropical birds, butterflies and iguanas, to name a few. The back deck provides plenty of cool space in the mornings and beautiful jungle sunsets in the afternoons. When you stay with us, we can plan your trip to turn out how you want it. We can reserve cars, tours, stock the house with groceries, etc. We have been in Costa Rica a long time, and have a lot of local know-how. We've also got a few beach cruisers to take you around, which makes the beach trip less than 5 minutes.

First if you like being in the nature and close to one of the beautifulest costa rican beach, Avellanas is the place to be... The beach is all sand and offer a pretty good surf break. The house is great, lot's of space, very clean, well equip, 2 big rooms, me and my friends found it very nice. It was the third one i rented in the region and the best. Off course to love the spot you'll need a car or jeep, and be willing to drive a little. Tamarindo is 30 minutes from there. thx bret every thing was awesome!!! hope to go back there again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

New home in quiet area, close to the beach. Very reasonably priced for this type of accomodation. Owner on site - who provided excellent service and comprehensive knowledge of the area.I would highly recommend this property - we enjoyed an excellent vacation there.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

I stayed recently at this Beautiful rental in Playa Avellanas.... I have been to the area many times. This is the best place I have stayed. The wildlife watching is great, I saw Howler monkeys everyday( they were so close you could almost reach out and touch them) The owners Brett and Amy are wonderful hosts and take really good care of you. You are also, a stones throw from the Ocean and Lola's which btw, is the best place to hang out in the whole area.. I defiantly plan on a return visit soon.Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

They chose this unique property because of it's privacy and tranquil location. It is conveniently located in Playa Avellanas, a pristine beach perfect for beginner and intermediate surfing, beach combing and sunbathing. It is also 10 min. to the Hacienda Pinilla Golf Course, Beach Club, JW Marriot restaurants and Playa Negra's world class surf break. Tamarindo's shops, restaurants and supermarket are less than a half hour away.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The guest house is located about a mile from Lola's Restaurant which provides the best lunch around. Bret and Amy are trained massage therapists and yoga instructors and offer these services at Lola's, or privately in the guest house.
