Hanalei house description
This is an absolutely wonderful family vacation home or a spurge for a honey moon. You are right in the middle of Hanalei Bay at the quiet end of town. You are steps from the sand and water. Lift your head a couple of inches from your pillow in the master bedroom and see the surf. There is a great lanai overlooking the sand and surf. A picnic table and BBQ are between you and the sand on your front lawn. Volley ball nets are a short stroll down the beach as are Pine Trees and Middles surf breaks. It is a short walk to town for shopping and restaurants. The bay offers several miles of walking. Go right off the lanai and be where the action is, go left to be left alone with just walkers and the occasional fisherman. The kitchen is open to the living and dining rooms, all of which have ocean views. There are the master bedroom with its own bath, two bedrooms and another bath downstairs. Upstairs is a large room with an ocean view deck and a wet bar. This room can be used for additional sleeping or a temporary office. There is a covered entry area where you can keep rental bikes, kayaks and beach toys. You can rent any of these in Hanalei. The name of the house is Ka Nani O' Wai'oli, which means the beauty of Wai'oli. Wai'oli means singing waters. You will see the waterfalls in the lush green mountains from the yard. I think you are getting the idea.

- Enjoy the many cultural events on the island. On our home website, beachkauai.com we have links to the local activities. Watch the boats in the summer, the surfers and whales in the winter. Try zip lining at Princeville Ranch or floating in giant inner tubes down the old irrigation ditches in & litterally through the mountains. Our island is great to see from a helicopter or especially a boat....moreless

A wonderful beach escape
A wonderful beach escape
My family and I have loved our time at this house. Nestled between mountains, the gorgeous Hanalei Bay and lush green fields with lots of palm trees, the views from all windows of this house were simply breath-taking. The house was extremely well-equipped, clean and comfortable. The house is right on the Hanalei beach. We would definitely like to go back as soon as we can and stay longer this time.

Wedding and reception
Wedding and reception
We were planning our destination wedding and could not find a "venue" that suited our vision of a small wedding and reception. Our family and friends totaled 25 and all wanted to contribute to our "potluck". My husband and I found the home owners very gracious and accommodating on every aspect and went above and beyond for our special day. We will always treasure all the memories of this amazingly beautiful place and hope one day to return for a few anniversaries. Thank you!
