The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unexpected view of the ocean and harbor from the lanai. Everything I needed for my stay was within reach. Mall across the parking lot if I wanted to go shopping, very good local food and store only blocks away. Ala Moana park a very short walk across the street allowing for beautiful sunrises, swimming beach, walking paths, city lights harbor all within minutes of my room. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I always love staying at the Ala Moana Hotel. It has an excellent location and the rooms are always clean. The only difficulty I faced in the VRBO rooms is help with maintenance. The shower dripped all night long, which I fixed by placing a towel in the tub to lessen the noise. Regular hotel maintenance cannot be called for these sorts of issues on VRBO rooms - so it is a bit more difficult if the room has any problems.
