The lobby is where you’ll catch rides to the beach to enjoy the Eldorado’s exclusive Ocean Front Cabana or to catch the trolleys to downtown Lahaina and Whalers Village. A 10 second walk to the lobby area and off you go! The most talked about feature without a doubt is the exclusive Eldorado Resort’s Private Cabana located at Kaanapali Beach. You can see it from your unit! A golf card shuttle at the lobby will take you there in 30 seconds and haul all your beach toys! Be sure to leave your beach towels because the $75 resort fee, which is paid directly to the front desk when you check in, includes towel service at the cabana! It also includes unlimited shuttle service to the cabana, Internet service, lounge chair rentals and the use of the full kitchen and library at the cabana. My wife and I spent almost a month at this unit in April. The best aspects of our stay include the view on the lanai where we spent many happy evenings and mornings. The El Dorado complex in general is perfect for us: quiet, conveniently located between Lahaina and Nipili, wonderful beach access and a terrific cabana for residents only. This unit is specifically located very conveniently for both parking and the view. It's less than a 10 minute walk to the beach or you can take the shuttle. Also, we used public transportation most of the time and the trolley to Whaler's Village connected us to Maui's inexpensive bus system. The manager was helpful and very responsive to our needs. The unit was well equipped. The only recommendations would be to upgrade the towels, shower curtain and if possible, the carpeting could use refurbishing, but the experience is well worth the expense. We're hoping to come back next year!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+.

We stayed in this unit 2 weeks ago and had a wonderful time. We watched beautiful sunsets every night from our lanai. We noticed others had to go out to the beach area or on to the golf course. What they don't tell you much about and what we thought was super convenient was that not only did this unit have great views from the couch and on the lanai but it was super convenient to come and go. The unit is very close to the lobby area for last minute snacks and we were able to parked our car right outside our door. This doesn't like a big deal but when you see how large the complex is, you'll be thankful. The unit itself isn't super fancy but it was definitely nice, everything worked fine and it was very inexpensive. By the way, they also promised to keep the price for us the same next year! We did have an issue with the internet connection but someone from the front desk came up about 20 minutes later and fixed it.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway.

They love the view from their unit, the convenience of having the lobby area so close and the number one feature they love is taking the shuttle from the lobby down to the private beach cabana. They don't like to get sandy but love being on the beach. They've met lots of great friends at the cabana area over the years.
