The door from the porch to the wrap-around deck creates a flow to the outdoors and more of the beautiful scenic views of the Lake. The deck has chairs, tables and lounges for your comfort, and the gas grill is located off the kitchen for outdoor cooking and enjoying a sunset dinner. My husband and I loved staying at Marilyn's place on Lake Erie. All of her little touches make the house feel like a home. The porch is great and the views of the lake sunsets are amazing. I highly recommend this cottage. My friends and relatives all came to visit me and enjoy the lake. There is a small park and beach just down the road. Thank you Marilyn for letting us rent your home for a week. We loved it.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.
The peace and serenity are wonderful -- very special!

Such a lovely and charming little house directly on Lake Erie, east of Cleveland, Ohio. This is one of the nicest places we have been in our travels and vacations. Just right to relax and enjoy the scenic Lake, charming atmosphere, cozy fireplace, cook a delicious dinner on the deck grill and enjoy the view. The peace and serenity are wonderful. We will be back again to enjoy it.

This is a darling cottage! We enjoyed the beach-style decorating and the view. It was very clean and had all the linens needed. Someone had taken the owner's flyers on places to eat/visit, but she was helpful when we called about recommendations. The only issue that we had was that there were only three small pieces of firewood for our 3-night winter stay, and when we asked about that we were directed to purchase firewood at a grocery. We also didn't see a way to access any beach area if we were to return in the summer... not sure how to get down the cliff to the water. Very nice cottage!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, girls getaway.
