Spring Break Visit
Spring Break Visit
Comfortable space. Clean. Warm and cozy. Furniture in good condition. Located across the street from a nice river walk. Not too far from downtown--can walk along river, just over a mile to downtown. Pet friendly. However, property managers are stingy with supplies. So if you are planning to stay more than one night, bring essentials with you - toilet paper, soap, shampoo, etc. There's only one store in town with limited hours, so it can be a challenge getting these essential items, especially on a Sunday. Also, kitchen is not well stocked. There's no cutting board, colander, or grater--and pots/pans are rusted out. Also, dishwasher doesn't work very well, so plan on washing dishes. Some of the walls can use a spackle-and-paint touchup.

Owner response: Thank you for staying with us and your review. Since we are not a hotel and do not offer daily housekeeping service we do not replenish amenities such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap during your stay. But we do stock every unit with a starter kit of these items that should last for shorter stays and hold you until you can get to the local market for longer stays. While the market here in Ouray is closed on Sundays there are two markets within ten miles that are open seven days a week. Thank you for letting us know that some of the kitchen items are in need of attention, we will get them replaced ASAP. We hope to see you again soon.
