  This house is so darling inside and was a perfect house getaway for a girl's weekend in Austin. Chris was so wonderful and was super easy to deal with in renting the house. The house is really close to downtown and lots of other things in Austin. We did a bike tour of Austin and that was a blast! I recommend renting this house to anyone.

  This is a very fine home that our group of 6 enjoyed during our visit to watch the return of Formula 1 racing to the US. It is in a great location close to downtown, yet in a neighborhood that was quiet and felt safe. The house was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The master bath shower is awesome! The owner lives right across the street and is a very friendly guy. We even asked him for dining options, and he recommended a good restaurant/bar. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Austin.

  This house is bigger than it looks and very comfortable. Very nice kitchen and bathrooms. Landlord is very nice and lives across the street if their are any problems. Master bedroom is huge with beautiful bath. We had 4 of us in town for work and it worked great for us.

  My family of 4 has been traveling the southwest for the past 6 weeks. An opportunity for us to spend a week in Austin (while Dad worked a few hours away) arose and we had to make a very quick decision on where to stay - challenging as none of us had ever been to Austin! Chris called me back right away and patiently answered all of my many questions about neighborhood safety, proximity to grocery stores, ease of getting downtown and out of town, etc... His mom even met us with the contract to let us in and we met him the next morning. Talk about Texas hospitality! My goodness what a beautiful renovation Chris and his partners have accomplished in this house. The finishes are excellent and the layout is amazing. For it's size, this house has one of the best floor plans I've ever seen. The master bathroom and kitchen pantry are such a surprise! Walk-in closets in every bedroom, large bathrooms and a huge laundry room are just a few of the well thought out touches. As Chris said, "we renovated it as if we were going to be living in it." And their level of attention to detail shows. But, what most impressed me was how thoughtful a host Chris was. Knowing I was the staying alone with my kids, he called me prior to coming over to bring the trash cans to the curb so I wouldn't be startled or worried by "some guy in the driveway." Just like he said, his neighborhood is great ~ quiet, safe, very conveniently located and filled with people who smiled and waved to us every time we drove down the street. Our week in Austin was a blast! We quickly got to anywhere downtown we wanted to go. Heading east to visit friends in the country was easily accomplished by jumping on 290. Next time we visit, we'll be staying here again!

  The house was very nice, but yet kid friendly enough to deal with our 6 kids. The neighborhood is old, but it was nice to see several walkers and cyclists out in the evenings. I will definitely stay here again when back in Austin.

  Owner was very accomadating and made sure our stay was great. House was very clean, and spacious ( even with 6ppl). Had The feeling of home away from home. We have stayed at several VRBO places and this by far is my favorite. Would definitely stay here again. Location is great too!

  House was perfect we ended up with 9 people staying at the house and we still had room. The owner is very nice and accommodating. It was a short distance to the conference we were attending. Could not have worked out better for us. Super quite neighborhood and conveniently located in Austin.

  We considered ourselves lucky to find this house after we accidentally booked a trip to Austin during SxSW. We were pleasantly surprised. The house is very spacious, with three bedrooms and two baths, and it gets a lot of natural light. We traveled with our two young children and the house is nicely set up for families, with everything on one floor and not too many tchotchkes and knickknacks. It was very clean when we arrived. The neighborhood is not fancy, but it seemed quiet and safe (no sidewalks) and it is close to a Target and other practical shopping. We found it to be an easy drive from any place we wanted to visit. Did I mention the shower? The master bath has a wonderful rain shower. If your ideal vacation home includes Frette linens, a five-star neighborhood, etc., this is not the house for you. But families or small groups will find this place perfectly accommodating. We did not meet the owner but he checked in by phone. Two small concerns: the dryer is very slow and inefficient, and we couldn't find extra toilet paper and had to buy some. If those are the worst things I find in a VRBO, I am perfectly happy with my stay.

  The owners, Chris and Shelly, worked with us to arrange for the house rental on short notice and showed us great Texas hospitality. The interior of the house has been totally redone. The house very clean and much or the furniture and the kitchen appliances were new. The master bedroom was huge and the master bedroom shower with the front and top showerheads was super. Each of the three bedrooms had cable tvs and roomy closets. The office was nice with a glass- top desk and cable fast wi-fi. The neighborhood was quiet but only a few minutes from Hyw 35. We greatly enjoyed our stay.
