  This home was great for two large families, their kids and spouses, and grandkids! The double oven was nice to have for cooking Thanksgiving dinner! And the ocean is a short walk away. The owner was always responsive to any email or phone call and accomodating. I would reccommend for an ocean trip getaway. There are only 3 private bedrooms (two of which are masters), but there is a lofted area with multiple beds and a tv room downstairs. As someone else stated before, if you have really young children, be sure to watch them on the banister as it needs to be reinforced.

  This house was a disappointment. We were expecting more bedrooms to suit our family function. There were locked doors that we couldn't get into that we were expecting to use. The kitchen is nice. Good location/access to the beach. Maybe close off the loft area and make another bedroom so you can have the number of bedrooms you claim to have. False advertisement!

  Owner response: This is the second review from this renter. I am sorry they didn't understand the arrangements as described in VRBO and letters to renter. Miramar has been totally upgraded with the highest quality materials. At Miramar you can rent just the main floor and Loft or for an extra fee add one or two bonus rooms to provide more bed or privacy. This is explained in the introduction letter to original inquirer but is not always communicated to the rest of the people who are staying with the person inquiring.

  We were shocked at the poor quality. It looks good in pictures though. These reviews must all be from the owner or friends. The Railing going upstairs was barely connected and would fall over if ANYONE leaned on it. That was the quality that showed in every way. Good luck on this one.

  Beautiful house, very well-kept and appointed. Easy walking distance to beach. Only 10-15 minutes to Ocean Shores. Plenty of dishes and linens for a large group; however, not much dry food storage due to so many dishes--had we been a larger group or staying longer, we would not have had space for canned/boxed goods. Also, the separate rooms downstairs sleep up to 24 people but share the tiniest full bath I have ever seen. A full house of 37 people would spend half the day waiting for turns in the showers. Overall our group was very comfortable and would certainly stay there again.

  I honestly have never stayed at a rental house with so many amenities! Because the house can hold so many people there are TONS of dishes and glassware, a griddle and 2 waffle makers for endless amounts of delicious breakfast items, pitchers to make juices, a coffee maker AND a keurig, an awesome huge barbecue, a fire pit to roast marshmallows and make smores, honestly you name it and they had it! There were also tons of games, bikes to ride, DVDs to watch, endless amounts of things to do! Plus the house is steps away from the beach, we went every day! Ronald and his wife have done such an amazing job with this house and I cant wait to go back.

  We just returned from the Big Red Beach House and couldn't be happier with the accommodations. We had 10 adults and 8 children under 5 and the house was just perfect. We rented to extra 2 rooms, which provided each couple with their own room. All of the amenities were outstanding, and the house was very clean and updated. We stayed at the house and went often to the beach on foot. The owners were extremely helpful. We hope to visit the big red beach house every year. The only recommendations I have would be to add a hot tub! Also, with little ones who like to view the downstairs from the loft, I would like to see a more reinforced banister for the stairs. Thanks to the owners and we can't wait to go back.

  Had a family Thanksgiving celebration. The house was perfect. It accommodated 12 people perfectly - all wanting privacy at times and all wanting to be together at other times. The kitchen is terrific. We appreciated so much having enough of everything, including chairs to allow us to have a sit down meal together. We also appreciated the extraordinary helpfulness of the owners. Thank you!

Peak and Holidays (May 15th - Sept 30th) -- $495 per night + tax for lst 15 people
Off Season (Oct. 1st - May 14th) -- $445 per night + tax for lst 15 people
All stays have a one-time cleaning fee of $100 -- for lst 15 people
2-nights minimum stay,  3-nights minimum stay for holidays
Stay 6 nights and the 7th night is free.
TWO BONUS BEDROOMS AVAILABLE FOR LARGER GROUPS;
