Pottery Barn cottage is a new rental listing in the Laurel Ridge area of Big Canoe with a unobstructed lake front view on Lake Disharoon. This four bedroom three and a half cottage has a vaulted open great room looking out over the lake with wood fire place open to the eating area and fully furnished kitchen. The queen master bedroom and jetted bathtub in the master bath are also on this main floor along with a large screened porch with wood fire place and deck. The Bose surround sound system has been installed inside and out. Upstairs has a game table in the loft and a large queen bedroom with adjoining bathroom. Downstairs has a queen bedroom and twin bed bedroom with jack and jill bathroom and a recreation room. We have a hammock on the downstairs deck, an outdoor swing, and path to the lake. We have a kayak for the lake and two adult and two children's bikes and scooters. Pottery Barn is very unique lake front house close to all of the amenities. We supply everything that you need from linens, towels, paper products, shampoo, etc. to firewood.
Big Canoe is a 9,000 acre gated community with five lakes and seven mountains located in the north Georgia mountains in a hard wood forest and wild life sanctuary. We offer three championship golf courses, hard, soft and indoor tennis courts, two outdoor and one indoor pools, 20+ miles of hiking trails, a world class fitness center, a swimming lake with beach, water slide, paddle boats, canoes, and pontoon rentals, and a fishing lake stocked with trout.

I rented four houses in Big Canoe from Mountain Home Rentals of GA in October of 2011 and cannot speak highly enough of the experience. We were there for our wedding, which as you may know can be an incredibly stressful time. Their willingness to work with us to find the accommodations we needed, their prompt replies to questions, and excellent follow-through on everything we discussed made the process of making these arrangements as stress-free and enjoyable as possible. The houses were exceptional, spacious and clean and very nicely furnished and the rates were very competitive. We received many compliments from our guests about how nice the houses were and how much they enjoyed themselves. I would not hesitate to rent from them again and would recommend their services to any of my friends. We also rented a few houses from another agent, and let’s just say the experience was not as good, to put it mildly. If you need a house in Big Canoe go through Mountain Home Rentals of GA, you will be glad you did!!

We came with some friends to Big Canoe for New Year's Eve weekend and stayed at the Pottery Barn Cottage. The house was spacious and accomodated two families with young children. The parking at this house was much easier to navigate than at some of the other homes we have stayed in at Big Canoe. We enjoyed the outdoor and indoor fire places since the weather was chilly. I would recommend this house and it will be on our list of places to return!

We recently stayed at this property and loved it. We had two families (4 adults and 4 kids) and we were very comfortable. The kids loved sitting outside by the fireplace roasting marshmallows at night. We did day trips to Burt's for pumpkins and to the apple orchards for picking apples. The house is beautiful and has everything you'll need. We'll be back :)
