Located on the fifth floor it looks out towards a small inner courtyard, providing a calm and peaceful oasis in the heart of the bustling capital, a rare luxury in this bustling and often city.
This is a brand new one bedroom luxury private apartment (50 sq/m or 540 sq/ft) located in the very heart of Paris right on the fabulous Avenue de l'Opera, one of the most prestigious addresses in Paris. It was totally gutted in 2009 and rebuilt to the highest standards with the best materials and fittings, and everything is brand new. The decor is by a leading French interior decorator and offers a very warm and cosy feeling. The stunning period building, formerly a luxurious palace, features an amazing grand entrance with sweeping staircase and 3 lifts. The Opera, Tuileries gardens, Louvre, Place de la Concorde, Madeleine are nearby, as well as the fabled boutiques of Faubourg Saint Honoré, the Printemps and Galeries Lafayette department stores.
Transport (Metro and buses) are right outside the door. So is a large Monoprix store with a huge gourmet food and fine wine section. Within five minutes walk you will find over 75 typical Parisian restaurants, every type of food shop, as well as a market on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
The very spacious bedroom features a king bed, plenty of storage including a walk in wardrobe and a stylish marble en-suite bathroom, bath with shower, a double washbasin and separate WC with a Miele washing machine/dryer.
There is also a second WC by the entrance with a small washbasin to act as a second bathroom if necessary. This is a very special feature for additional privacy, as in most other 1 bedroom apartments in Paris guests sleeping in the living room must cross the main bedroom at night to access the toilets !
The open plan kitchen is fully equipped with ultra modern appliances, including ceramic cook top, microwave/oven, dishwasher, large fridge-freezer (all by Miele), a Nespresso machine, a huge granite bench top. It is a fabulous space to prepare your meals with the local produce purchased at the nearby market and food shops.
In the living area there is a luxury Italian leather queen sized sofa bed, extremely comfortable to accommodate 2 additional persons. There are two leather arm chairs, flat screen TV, DVD player, stereo unit, spare DVDs and CDs, a small library including novels and many Paris sightseeing and restaurant guides. Also a stylish dining setting for 4.
This apartment features plenty of storage space and is tastefully furnished featuring a restful colour scheme and high quality furniture and fittings.
It is fully air conditioned with 2 independent zones which can be controlled individually. A very rare feature in Paris and essential in the summer months.
Accommodates up to 4 persons: 1 king size bed in the bedroom and 1 very comfortable queen sized sofa bed in the living room.
Also included: Free Wireless high speed internet and cable TV (200 Channels) with all major English speaking channels.

This apartment is so comfortable and so well appointed that any stay in Paris is guaranteed to be a memorable one. Its location is fantastic, enabling easy walks to all the famous Parisien landmarks, museums, galleries and gardens and at the end of the day you have a "Home" to return to! Eating in is a pleasure with a fully equipped kitchen and dining out is so easy with many good restaurants within walking distance. The information folder provided by the owners on restaurants, transport, shopping etc was invaluable. We referred to it constantly.All up we couldn't fault this apartment, it is a very special place in Paris.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car.

We are seasoned 55+ travelers. Renting a Paris apartment was our first and most important decision for a two week vacation in Paris, and all other details, including travel times, revolved around that selection. We were delighted with this apartment! Over and over we kept telling ourselves this was the best travel decision ever! It was even better than the description, with beautiful layered lighting, tall windows with black-out curtains, privacy, space, walls of storage, multiple seating options, and a wonderful deep tub for soaking. Intelligent design, beauty, and attention for comfort was evidenced through-out the space. Thank you for a COMFORTABLE king bed! And two bathrooms. The kitchen was modern and well equipped. Susan was always prompt with her replies and provided abundant information. The location: Louvre on one end and Opera Garnier on the other--Wow! We always felt safe and secure entering the building and within our apartment. The Paris tourism agency and grocery store are just across the street, as is the Metro, and bus stops are just steps away. We would recommend this to family, friends, everyone seeking a beautiful central location in Paris! A+, super, with grateful thanks to the owners for providing this wonderful abode in a glorious city.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

Very nice apartment with everything you need. Perfect place to stay in Paris with metro and buses stops just outside the property. Very calm and safe. Beautiful building too.Recommended for: Families with young children, tourists without a car.
