Susan Sherman and family. We loved the idyllic setting. Masses of butterflies had just come out of the cocoons and it looked like a fairyland. I saw a small herd of elk on the property early one morning. The house is well appointed and comfortable. It has a full working kitchen with pots and pans that are quite serviceable. The beds were comfortable and it was big enough for all of us. The house was clean and well taken care of, they even left out shampoo, conditioner, soap just like in a hotel.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Our stay at this property was wonderful. The pictures on the web site do not due it justice. It was much more than we expected. It was clean and furnished beautifully. The property was perfect for our family reunion. The back yard is huge and the kids had a great time playing games and running around which is what kids do best. Darby and Hamilton are a short drive away for needed extras. Our older kids enjoyed climbing Trapper Peak, a real challenge for amatuer Mt climbers. Close by is Como Lake for swimming and a easier hike around the lake to see a beautiful waterfall. The property was equipped with everything we needed. Internet was available for those that just couldn't give it up and our cell phones worked great. My husband enjoyed the quiet and beauty of the property in the morning before everyone work up and was able to take a nice hike and saw a lot of deer. I slept in until I smelled breakfast cooking by my nice son. We recommend this property to anyone who would enjoy the beauty of the Bitteroot Valley. We will certainly come again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We had the privilege of staying at the Hayes Creek vacation home for a famliy reunion. The home and grounds are lovely and well cared for. The home is spacious enough so that 10 people stayed in comfort, with beautifully furnished bedrooms and bathrooms. The pool table was a hit with the younger folks, and the TV room nicely set up with a game table. To top that off, the area of Hamilton is spectacularly breathtaking. We highly recommend the home and area. The owners were very kind and professional to deal with.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We had an awesome experience at Hayes Creek, Montana. The property is secluded but minutes from town. Beautifully furnished and fully equiped. We had so much fun watching the wildlife, playing pool and loved the outdoor fire pit. We even saw an elk being born right outside our bedroom window near a lovely pond. There were a multitude of birds including a huge group of wild turkeys. The property was immaculate and perfectly manicured. We will definitely stay here again and I'm recommending it to all our friends.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Absolutely phenomenal. A little out of the way, but well worth it. All you could ask for while staying in the Bitteroot Valley in Montana. There were 50 elk on the lawn when I arrived! We had 13 people there and they all loved it even if they didn't get a room.
