Sunset Way is a large house on two acres in a quiet, private neighborhood. The spacious house with large yard make this ideal for two or more families with children, and the full bath in each bedroom provides privacy for everyone in the group. The hot tub sits in a secluded courtyard, and the front deck, large great room, master bedroom, kitchen and dining room provide a sweeping view to the ocean. The large, fully-equipped kitchen eases preparation of meals for the family. In this house, togetherness is an option, not a necessity.
The location (seven miles north of Mendocino Village, two miles south of Fort Bragg) affords easy access to everything the North Coast has to offer, from the antique shops of the Village to horseback riding and diving at Mackerricher State Park, just a few miles to the North. Sea Kayaking from Noyo Harbor, paddling on Big River or Pudding Creek, or hiking the many fireroads and trails in the redwoods will keep the adventurous occupied; the rest of us can stroll the paved haul road at Mackerricher or just sit on the deck with a glass of wine and watch the deer and whales.

Great house!

After staying at this property some 6 times over the last 4 years, I thought I would finally post a review. It is DEFINITELY a great place. We absolutely love it and just returned from back-to-back weekends in Fort Bragg at this property. We love how each bedroom has its own bathroom, and that the yard is very spacious for playing games. It is very close to both Mendocino and Fort Bragg and is super quiet, away from the noise of Highway 1. Responsive owners, dog friendly, and fully equipped- we will never stay in a hotel in the Fort Bragg/Mendocino area again!
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, sightseeing, pet owners, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
