Awesome AK Vacation Spot
Awesome AK Vacation Spot
My family (including several young children and my parents) rented the Hill's Kenai Cabin for a week. The cabin was great - good condition, well furnished, roomy, clean, etc. Julie and Gomer Hill were fantastic hosts. Our 8 yr. old son was very interested in trying his hand at salmon fishing and Gomer took the time to work with him until he had it down. The location was also great. We took several day trips to Homer, Seward, and Kenai. This will definitely be at the top of our list for any future trips to AK.

Just returned from a one week visit. The listing information about the property is very accurate. It exceeded our expectations in every regard. Julie and Gomer are wonderful host and made us feel like family. The location was perfect, five miles from town. Nice and quiet.

Year Purchased: 2011
About the owner: My husband and I have been traveling to Alaska for fishing and other adventures for over 25 years. In 2009 we purchased this lot and built a 2 story home on it which we also rent. This year we decided to add a garage and increased it to two stories to accomodate another rental unit. We live in Denver with our 5 golden retrievers who often travel with us in the lower 48.
Why the Owner Chose Soldotna:
Decided to buy a lot on the Kenai River because of the beauty of the area as well as the world class fishing available.
