This 3 bedroom/2.5 bath townhome offers the best of Big Sky and Moonlight Basin. It is just steps from the Pony Express and Ironhorse lifts, which provide access to both Big Sky and Moonlight skiing. This is one of very few places with access to lifts that allow you to ski to either resort. Once you arrive you don't need to drive anywhere!
Our unit is extremely close (100 feet) to the Moonlight lodge. You will love the convenience of being able to take a swim in the pool, utilize the fitness center, relax in the spa, enjoy a fabulous dinner in the restaurant, or unwind with a drink at the lodge bar.
With over 5,300 acres of terrain, skiers at every level will remain delighted by everthing from well groomed runs to some of the steepest and most technical inbounds terrain in the United States.
If you do not wish to ski every day, don't miss the dog sledding, sleigh ride yurt dinner, snowshoeing, cross country skiing and excursions to Yellowstone.
Walk out on the balcony for a breathtaking view of the Spanish Peaks while making dinner on the gas grill we provide, or experience the soothing comfort of a brand new private hot tub (seats 6) while you admire the surrounding mountains views.
Your group can relax at the end of the day by watching a movie on the VCR or DVD player, or by playing a game on the Wii system. Two sleds are also provided for your recreational use. Internet access is available.
We provide 24/7 access to a local professional property management and concierge services in order to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Local vendors are available to provide grocery delivery and ski equipment to the townhome before your arrival.
Summertime offers an endless list of activities. The area is famous for fly fishing, hiking and biking trails, river rafting, rock climbing and of course it's close proximity to Yellowstone National Park. This unit is an ideal location for guests attending summer weddings, conferences, music festivals and concerts in the Big Sky area.

This place is exactly, and as good, as advertised. The distance from front door to where you put your skis on to drop down on the Iron Horse lift is closer than you have ever parked in your car, ever. At the top of Iron Horse, you go right to Moonlight, left to Big Sky....what else do you want? We had 3, 45+ year old skiers, and it was great for the 54 year old to be able to go back at will and rest. We are a value concious (cheap?) group. We made a menu, bought groceries, and cooked big breakfast and dinner every day, with leftovers and sandwiches for lunch. All of our food, plus beer, for 5 days/4 nights, was $160....about $35/day for 3 people. How much would you spend if 3 guys ate and drank in restaurants and bars for 5 days? If you think you can't afford ski in/ski out, you are wrong. You should do this.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

This Townhome was perfect for our group Ski Vacation! The Hill and lodge were only steps away which made accessing the slopes extremely easy. Moonlight lodge was also very helpful when looking to purchase lift tickets and answering all questions in regards to town, grooming conditions, ski conditions, and the townhomes. The views from the balcony were amazing and so was the hot tub after a day of skiing. The kitchen had more necessities than expected and was great for the nights we made dinner. Town is also close and has great dinner selections which we tried a few nights during our stay. The owner also did an excellent job responding promptly to my many questions before our stay. Overall it was a great experience and would recommend this townhome to anyone visiting Big Sky/Moonlight Basin for their next ski Vacation!Did you find this review helpful? Our town home at Saddle Ridge was an excellent choice for us, our daughter and son-in-law have just graduated from MSU in Bozeman so what a perfect choice for graduation and Christmas combined! The skiing was the best anyone had ever experienced. The photos and listing description were just as described with the owner being very helpful and accommodating. During our stay we cooked all our meals with no problems and happily found a full kitchen supplied with everything we needed. The home was clean, well equipped and in one of the most beautiful locations to enjoy a get-a-way vacation.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

We had a wonderful trip to this beautiful Montana ski area and have decided it is our favorite ski spot in the west! The condo was spacious, clean, nicely decorated, and very convenient to the slopes and lodge. We loved staying slopeside and really enjoyed the condo. It was also a quiet area. We skiied at Moonlight and Big Sky and loved both. The people everywhere we went were so friendly and helpful. We also went snowmobiling in Yellowstone Park and would highly recommend that amazing adventure.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Thank you for an amazing family ski vacation! We all had a fabulous time at Moonlight Basin. Our children have never skied down a real mountain... so this was truly an adventure. The ski in - ski out condo allows for everyone to come and go as they please. We had everything we needed and MORE. Beautiful, breathtaking views right from the deck!, Spectacular Lodge just steps away with all of the amenities we were looking for. The Spa was perfect for mom, while the pool and hot tub where great for the kids. The Lodge Restaurant and Bar were perfect for all of us, which is all within a 2 minute walk from the condo! The skiing was better than expected - very quaint and family friendly. We would recommend this condo experience to anyone!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

Arrived at this beautiful condo on 2/22/12. Amazed at what a true ski in/ski out condo this really is. Unit is literally a few hundred feet from the ski lift and lodge. Enjoyed morning coffee and breakfast while looking out at the Spanish Peaks. Skied back to condo each afternoon for lunch. What a treat to be able to pull of the boots and kick back and relax during lunch. New hot tub was just what the Doc ordered for sore muscles. Truly enjoyed this Big Sky townhouse. Have skied my whole life in various parts of Colorado. I found a hidden treasure at Moonlight Basin. Will be back in the summer and again when the snow flies. Epic trip. Will be giving rave reviews to all my friends.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

Everywhere we turned during our vacation at this condo we were saying "Wow, look at that view!" We visited this area for the first time in July, 2011. There was STILL snow on the mountain tops (quite unusual even for this area.) The views from this condo of Lone Peak and the Spanish Peaks are fantastic. The staff at the Moonlight Basin Lodge was beyond helpful in suggesting and booking things to fill our days (ask for Kayla). We went fly-fishing on the Gallatin River, whitewater rafting (I highly recommend Carl at Gyser), ziplining at the Big Sky base camp (the girls Sally and Gina were very cute, entertaining and made our trip fun), visited Yellowstone several times and even went on a Cowboy Cookout and hayride at one of the local ranches (320 Ranch). Some other wow factors were all the beautiful wildflowers that were blooming along the sides of the mountains and the mountain streams meandering around the valley floors. One must not miss the hike on Beehive Basin which was right down the road from our condo. We were having so much fun we even extended our vacation another 5 days! Two weeks is NOT enough to explore all there is to do here. If you like to see wildlife all one had to do was look out the window! We saw a fox, a black bear walking down the sky slope right outside the Moonlight Basin Lodge, a moose and her calf crossing the road directly in front of us as we left the condo and of course marmots and chipmunks. The condo itself was VERY nice and clean. It had everything one needed to enjoy a wonderful vacation. We are already making plans to return in the winter or early spring to enjoy the activities this area has to offer during skiing season.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

About the owner: We are a Minnesota family of five, who believes that some of our best times together have been the times we have spent enjoying outdoor activities. We love to ski, hike, kayak, fish, ride horses, golf and experience all of the adventures the Big Sky area offers. We often invite another family to join us on our trips to Montana, and we find that our townhome is very comfortable for all of us. Because we have rented in many ski locations ourselves, we believe we know how to provide guests what they need in order to experience a perfect vacation. A carefully chosen local management company works with us to ensure our guests are having a fantastic experience.
Why the Owner Chose Saddle Ridge:
Our family purchased this townhome after many years of skiing in Canada, Utah, Colorado, California, Montana, Michigan and Minnesota. We chose to buy in Big Sky, because the area had everything we were looking for.
Big Sky and Moonlight Basin offer some of the biggest skiing in North America. There are rarely lift lines, and the runs are not crowded. There are an endless number of activities available in both the winter and summer for all ages.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome:
The airport in Bozeman is small and accessible, the drive to Big Sky is easy and traffic is light.
We enjoy wildlife viewing (moose, caribou, mountain goats) in Big Sky and the surrounding areas. In other more populated ski areas, the wildlife is not as visible.
Summertime provides us the opportunity to take advantage of the hiking trails right outside our townhome door.
