Relax in Grandma's clean and comfortable, casual home that features sunlight and cool breezes. Cooking is a pleasure in the large, well-appointed kitchen that is open to the living and dining room. Don't feel like cooking? There are plenty of family-friendly eateries close by as well as upscale dining....either by foot, bike (there are 2 adult bikes for use), or car. Put kids to bed in Grandma's bunk room while parents enjoy the evening with netflix in the living room's 52' TV.
Enjoy the ambiance of the neighborhood with the jacuzzi and pool apx. 50 steps from the front door. There is an additional olympic-size pool about 2 blocks away. Of course Grandma has kids' pool toys to use. Irvine has been voted the safest city in America and it's a wonderful city to spend evenings outdoors at the many public parks, large and small; walk/bike trails; or the casual open-air village eateries and ubiquitous coffee houses.
Grandma's house is 5 minutes from the Interstate 5 and is 20 minutes from Disneyland, the Orange County airport, Irvine Spectrum, Fashion Island, and South Coast Plaza. It's a 20- minute drive to beautiful public beaches and the beautiful California coast. Continue south on Interstate 5 and you'll be in San Diego in 90 minutes or take the train from the train station that is 10 minutes from my house.
Close to Irvine Industrial Center, Chapman University, and University of California. 1 hour drive to downtown L.A. or take the train.
If you'd like a babysitter I can recommend my grandchildren's 23 year-old babysitter who is the only non family member who babysits my grandkids.
All cotton sheets and towels. Home cleaned with natural products such as vinegar and baking soda.
There is garage entry into the home from the downstairs entry hall. The separate laundry room is off of the kitchen. There is a huge breakfast bar separating the kitchen from the living room. This is a gated condominium community in an up-scale neighborhood. It's roomy yet cozy. A 5th person could sleep on the comfortable sofa.....I do it often when the family visits.
Keywords: Bunkbeds, crib available; toys, wii, kids books available. Dining, living, and cook's kitchen all open to covered balcony. Above the garage with inside stairs.

Marsha's place was very beautiful and very clean. It was perfect for my mum, dad, my sister and myself. She was very easy to work with. Everything was ready when we got there. The condo is in a nice quiet neighborhood and conveniently located to the 5 freeway. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

I can't wait to come back. This was my second stay and I can't wait for my third. I travel here for business but enjoy coming 'home' to a comfortable spot with all the amenities. My 50+ parents came for the weekend and kept raving about how the condo made the trip all the better (and we are hotel aficionados!) We saw all the sites up to Malibu and down to Dana Point - this is a great location to see it all.Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing.

Marsha's place was amazing! Perfect for 2 people who you were there on business for a week. Loved the porch and the bikes. Great location within 15-20 minutes driving distance of Newport Beach, Balboa Island, Laguna Beach, etc. I highly recommend it!!!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

This was a beautiful place with great amenities. Very Clean. Great communication prior to our stay. Owner was very easy to work with. Highly recommended. We would stay here again in a minute.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.
