Year Purchased: 2004
About the owner: We owned one of the most highly rated gourmet restaurants in northeast Michigan until retiring in September 2012 in order to spend more time with family and travel.
Why the Owner Chose Oscoda: Sandy grew up in nearby Harrisville. Tim grew up in Howell and spent lots of time at his grandparent's Lake Huron home. We both love the area and that big lake! This was the best beach we could find so here we are!
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage: We love spending time on the beach swimming, walking and sun bathing. In the evenings we love to build a fire and star gaze. If you live in metropolitan area you will be amazed at the star shine. Keep watch for the northern lights too.
