I loved our stay on this property! The house is perfect for a number of people, abundant bedrooms and bathrooms, decks and the most amazing sun room. I would highly recommend for a retreat or a family gathering!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Glad you had a great time at Seaclusion, and found everything as promised. Glad we were able to get the fireplace going to take the chill off those cool evenings of your stay. Hope you'll be back again next year for another fun time. Thanks for the great review of our place.

What a great place! We were so comfortable and the view...just gorgeous! Clean and well-stocked. Jane is a gem to work with. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. So peaceful. This place is great for those who wish to just hang out with family, take a stroll on the beach, or venture out to the local artist and coffee shops. Not too far from the ferry to Ocracoke either. Recommend getting an early start, though. The ferry is taking an alternate route due to the storms last year and the wait may be quite long. We waited about 2 hours each way, not including the 60-70 minute ferry ride. The only thing that could have made our trip better was the weather. The sun did manage to peak out of the clouds on several afternoons and we were able to make the short walk down to the beach to enjoy it. Very little tourists this time of year. Truly a great vacation!Owner response: Thanks so much for the great review! Glad you had such a nice stay at Seaclusion, and found everything as promised, sorry about the sheets. I just wish the weather had cooperated, but that's the beach! The weather is always great the day you leave. I hope you come back again, it was great doing business with you.

My husband, cousin and her husband stayed at Seaclusion for a week the first of October. It is beautiful. We were so surprised and and pleased at how clean and beautiful the home is. It was so nice to stay in the same place for a week and not have to pack up and move to a different place. The ocean is right behind the house so we walked down several times to the ocean. We stayed busy everyday and never had one bad meal at any place that we ate. Wonderful vacation. If we ever go back to the Outer Banks we will stay at Seaclusion.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Glad you had such a nice visit to the Outer Banks, it's a special place! The area is quaint and has many good restaurants. I appreciate your comments about our cleanliness, Shore Details our management company does an excellent job of having eveything clean and in order for each renter. If ever back this way again please feel free to consider Seaclusion as a "home away from home".

This is our 6th visit to Seaclusion, it is by far our favorite beach vacation home. This home is nicely decorated, very well maintained and sparkling clean. The owners are very helpful and even phoned during our stay to make sure everything was as we expected it. The kitchen is well stocked and there is plenty of seating so everyone can be together during meals or games. Seaclusion also offers, many spaces to be alone, there is a second tv area on the lower level and a sunroom on the upper level slightly removed from the activity in the kitchen/dining area. Salvo is a very convenient location, a short drive north or south gives you many options on activities, shopping and dining. We look forward to our next trip to the OBX and Seaclusion.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children.
Owner response: You can certainly tell you love Seaclusion as much as we do! The Outer Banks is such a special place to visit. Glad your family had a great stay and hope to hear from you again next year.

Well appointed and very comfortable house. We enjoyed our stay and really couldn't think of any thing that could have been improved on. The owner was very helpful and concerned that everything was as expected. The house is beside the beach access path so that was very convenient. We would certainly rent again.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thanks for the great review, and I'm glad you had a good 5 days at OBX and your stay in Seaclusion. Hope we'll see you back again in the near future.

Arrived home late last night. We all enjoyed Seaclusion and Hatteras Island. We lucked out with sun every day! One of the cleanest, coziest rentals we've experienced! Very thoughtful details and beautiful furnishings throughout the home. We'll truly miss it! Thank you, owners!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Glad you had a chance to enjoy OBX and Seaclusion. Come again next year if time permits

Nice house, 2 great master suites plus 3 other bedrooms was perfect for my family. Love the variety of decks around the house. 100 yd walk through the dunes to the beach. The best part is that it was 15 degrees cooler in Salvo than it was in most of NC that week; love those ocean breezes!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.
Owner response: Thanks for the great review and hope you will considering returning again next year.

My 13 friends and I stayed at Seaclusion for a week in May and it was better than we could have ever expected! The pictures on the website don't do the house justice, everything was perfect and our vacation was the best we've had. Jane was so helpful with everything and we are so thankful that she let us have the experience of a lifetime. We can't wait to book a vacation at this house again!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Glad we were able to make this week work for you and your friends. Thanks for taking such good care of our place and hope you come back again soon!

This was our second year at Seaclusion and our week in this beautiful house was everything we remembered! Our multi-generational family had enough room to spread out and not feel cramped yet the kitchen, dinining and living areas were large enough to bring everyone together for meals, games, chatting, etc. The kitchen is amazingly well supplied with cooking and eating utensils and the cargo elevator made stocking the fridge and moving luggage a breeze. We spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying the views of the ocean and the quick trip over the dune provided easy access to the beach. The photos are accurate but don't really do justice to the spaciousness of this well cared for home. We loved our meals at Top Dog and our excursions across to Ocracoke. This is a week and a vacation home that our family always looks forward to!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: So glad you found everything as well cared for as last year. We love Seaclusion and sharing it with others. Hope you'll be back again next year!

Other than the daily Salvo Fishing Report of: 'This report will return when there is something to report.' - it was yet another fabulous Thanksgiving week at Seaclusion. This is our forth year at Seaclusion and each year it seems we are the first renters in a brand new home. This home is very aptly named 'Seaclusion'.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

About the owner: We love spending time at the ocean and have been coming to the Outer Banks since we were married 43 years ago. Our children have been coming for years and are now bringing our grandchildren. It is truly is a great time to get close to family or friends for a vacation to remember, with plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the OBX lifestyle.
Why the Owner Chose Salvo:
We love the neighborhood, it's quiet and safe for biking or just walking around. The ocean sounds are so relaxing and star filled nights are a sight to behold.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We love to walk the beach in the early morning searching for shells. The fishing is great from the beach, or on the sound or in the ocean. Surfing, or using a boogie board is a great way to catch that next wave. Bike rentals are nearby for even more exercise around the area. A must visit is a trip to Hatteras Lighthouse and Ocracoke Island.
