  This is a wonderful place to stay- very tranquil, and peaceful, in a tranquil setting. The inside is beautifully appointed- and we were very comfortable and happy - in fact, didn't want to leave! Highly recommend this property as a weekend getaway or vacation rental!

  We came to the cottage for a weekend getaway. Loved every minute! It's just as Jacqueline described above. Will definitely be back!! Wonderful deck and fireplace. Decorated very modern. Loved it!!

  Jackie, we had a great time at your place Oct 21 - 24! We celebrated our 40th anniversary on October 21 and couldn't have picked a more suitable place to kick things off. The Game Keeper was a great recommendation and the resort personnel were also very helpful. All in all, just a perfect place for us. We recommend it highly. Bill and Brenda

  Croatan cottage was awesome! Perfect for our fam of 4 for the weekend, clean, had all we needed! Would definitely stay there again.

  Hello VRBO Friends. My wife and I are Retired Seniors that enjoy the convenience, comfort, ammenities, space of the many VRBO offerings. Have used them for years all over the world. This "Modern Cozy Cottage" is amoung the best for us. Very clean, well equipped, the owner is delightful to work with and the location in the Yonahlossee Resort is perfect!! Jacqueline, the owner, was very attentive to questions and was interested in our satisfaction and comfort. This was the second time we have stayed here and will certainly stay again. The central location to all of the wonderful adventures in the area make it perfect. The Staff at Yonahlossee went out of their way to give us attention and make as feel very much a part of the community. Visited every morning at Breakfast (included) and discussed our daily adventures. Farmer's Markets, Wineries, Sites, restaurants. Our own personal concierge staff. The mid-week touch-up cleaning and linen change was wonderful. We enjoyed our time here and look forward to another two weeks next year.

  We surprised my in-laws with a trip to Boone for the Highland Games this year and they had the pleasure of staying in your wonderful cabin! My husband and I also had the pleasure of getting to see it, and let me say, it is great!! Just beautiful!!

  Loved the cottage! Highly recommend for relaxing couple's get away or for small family or individual retreat. Great location - cozy space. Enjoyed the deck, the fireplace, the tasteful decor and the comfy bedding! Wouldn't change a thing! Thanks for a great weekend.

  My husband and I enjoyed a relaxing weekend here. We loved the stylish decor in this comfortable cottage and would definitely stay here again. Yonahlossee is a beautiful property with a lot of amenities, and the staff is friendly.

  We had a wonderful winter getaway at this beautifully decorated cottage. It had everything you need for a weekend. The fireplace was great and was turned on with a light switch. The bed was comfy and warm. The continental breakfast at the inn was great too and very convenient from this cottage. We will definitely return to this wonderful place!!!!

  My husband and I had a wonderfully relaxing mini-honeymoon here! We are already talking about coming back every year for our anniversary. The cottage is beautiful, the scenery is amazing and the hospitality is lovely! We highly recommend the local zip lining and the Gamekeeper restaurant as must-do's! Thanks so much!   My family stayed at the cottage this past Fall, and it was wonderful! The decor is updated and stylish, but everything still feels very cozy - a true getaway. The cottage has an open floor plan, including the bedroom, so guests should know that in case there are any light sleepers; but it worked great for our family, and we can't wait to visit again!

  My husband and I stayed at this studio cottage for our anniversary trip. It was the perfect size for the two of us. It is decorated beautifully and well-equipped in the kitchen (and we are picky). We have stayed at different locations at Yonahlassee, including fiddlestix cottages and private condos, and we would definitely stay here again. It's also right across from the inn, so we just walked a few steps to breakfast. Yonahlassee is a great stay.

  We just returned from our stay at this lovely cottage. I would highly recommend it to anyone. The cottage is well appointed and beautifully decorated. It is close to Boone and Blowing Rock. The grounds are lovely and will be spectacular in a couple of weeks when the leaves change. We will definitely be back.

  We loved staying at this cottage! The location of the cottage was close to the Blue Ridge Parkway where the trails are that we like to go hiking and picnic...Price Park, Moses Cone and especially Tanawha Trail at Rough Ridge. When returning to the cottage each day after the hike, we enjoying relaxing and reading on the deck. The cottage had everything that we needed...it was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The location was convenient to the Inn where we walked every morning for breakfast of coffee, juice, bagels, fruit, etc. My husband and I are ready to come back!!

  If you're willing to drive a short distance outside of Boone, you'll be well rewarded with this wonderful little cottage. Although it's small, my husband and I and two teenage daughters stayed comfortably and enjoyed the coziness of the decor and the beautiful natural setting, surrounded by trees and generously endowed with squirrels. The indoor pool nearby is huge and really nice, and the continental breakfast means one less step before you can get out and start enjoying this beautiful area. We went hiking at Grandfather Mountain, tubing on the river and exploring the charming shops in Boone and Blowing Rock. Eat at Our Daily Bread on King Street in Boone -- we loved it so much we ate there twice!

  We just returned from our stay and I must say, we had the perfect mountain vacation staying in your exquisitely decorated cottage. The cottage was very comfortable, immaculately clean and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the morning walk to breakfast at the Inn.   What an amazing, beautiful cottage; We really enjoyed our 5 nights here! It was very tastefully decorated. The beds were extremely comfortable and the Jacuzzi a welcome retreat after a day of hiking. We liked the fact that we were close to so many recreational areas and centrally located between Blowing Rock and Boone. We enjoyed that the cottage was so private, yet conveniently located close to the Inn, where we enjoyed breakfast each morning. The staff members at the Inn were friendly, along with Lucy, the cat who would also greet us each morning. We would love to stay again next year. Thanks for making our vacation so memorable.

  I had a wonderful stay at the cottage, me and a friend were in blowing rock on a cycling vacation, we found the cottage to be a very relaxing home at the end of a long day cycling in the mountains (I especially enjoyed the Whirlpool tub) The staff at the Inn were very accommodating to all our needs and the complimentary breakfast was very good. I will definitely stay here again, hopefully next year. Thank you, to the owners, for allowing us to stay in there beautiful home.

  We had a wonderful weekend! The cottage is precious and so beautifully decorated. The linens and all finishes were so very nice! The resort community is quiet and so scenic. The breakfast at the Inn was a nice perk too! It was just a short drive to Blowing Rock and all there is to do in this area. We enjoyed our weekend and the hospitality of the owners!

  This is a very relaxing retreat. It is a wonderful place for a gateway. We adore this little cottage. It is absolutely adorable. This is our 3rd visit here and definitely plan on coming back.

  Stayed for the weekend in this lovely cottage. Professionally decorated and full of luxury. Everything you need for a great getaway weekend. Wonderful staff on hand at the inn - just in case. Short drive to downtown Boone, and the delightful village of Blowing Rock.

  We enjoyed our stay at this cozy and comfortable cottage at Yohnolossee. It was pleasant to sit on the deck under the trees each morning and to walk the grounds in the evening. All the mountain sights are nearby, including lovely Blowing Rock. Jacqueline was very helpful in arranging our last minute stay. We look forward to another stay soon.
