A spaceous ground-floor, surfside condominium with an unobstructed view of the Gulf of Mexico through it's large windows and from it's furnished patio. The unit has two separate bedrooms, each having its own bathroom(dutch-marble tubs with shower enclosures)and closet. In addition, there is a sleeper sofa in the living-room with a full-size matress.

The unit is complete with a large kitchen that has all of the major appliances, utensils, and a complete set of dinnerware. Adjacent to the kitchen is a service bar w/stools. In addition, there are separate dining and living-room areas. This unit has approx. 1,200 sq. ft. of interior space.

The unit has a television in each room with a VCR, HBO and cable (the livingroom set is a HDTV). Also, it has a Stereo (CDs) and a DVD/VCR in the living room with its own collection of taped movies. We also have broadband (wireless and cable) internet service in the unit.

Please note that this is a non-smoking unit with an interior detection system; however, smokers are welcome to light-up outside on the patio.

This unit is located in a complex that has a beachside swimming pool(heated in winter), a hot tub(spa), a sun deck, an elevated tennis court, and a shared barbecue area. Daily linen exchange for the provided sheets, pillow cases and towels is available and the cost is included in the rental fee. Finally, there are several coin-op laundramats located on the premesis.

Please reserve your days early as this unit tends to fill up fast.

Upon exiting the unit on the gulf side, you are only a few steps away from access to the crystal-white beaches and clear blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Experience the golden sunsets, doze-off to sounds of waves splashing on the nearby shore, and be awakened by incredible sunrises and the calls of seagulls and sandpipers. If you are looking for a relaxing seashore environment with all of the comforts of home, this is the right place for you.

Why the Owner Chose Suntide II

I live in Brownsville, Texas and I have found South Padre Island to be a great beach resort to spend time at. Before purchasing my condo on the island, I was in Punta Leon, Costa Rica considering a vacation condo there. However, after going back to South Padre I decided that I did not need to go down to Costa Rica in order to enjoy a great beach vacation.

      Robert, We just got back from our stay in your Condo. We loved it! It was perfect and we had alot of fun. The staff at Suntide was very nice and always helpful. But I wanted to make a comment on one in particular. Aurora was very friendly and very helpful. If we asked her where something was in town and she did not know she found out for us. I want you to please pass this on to her supervisor. I worked in a ski resort condominium complex in Snowmass Village, Colorado. I was in management and I would have loved to have had her on my staff. I know from being in the hospitality business that you do not hear the positive things about your employees; you only hear if they made a mistake. No mistakes from Aurora.     • Hi Robert, We just returned from our nine day stay in your fantastic condo and you were right, I would have loved to stay and not come home. This is the best set up we have had. The location was awesome. It was so wonderful for my kids to just run out the door and be on the beach or pool both within steps. That was also the warmest pool I have ever been in. You could see the ocean from every room except for the second bedroom. Your condo was very clean and comfortable! You were also so caring and accomadating and it was greatly appreciated!
