This 1900 SQ. FT. Sanibel Island vacation home has recently been remodeled and offers amenities not often seen in a vacation rental. This home includes a large heated pool with spa and lap swimming lane, a dock to moor a boat or just sit and enjoy fishing while watching dolphins and manatee frolic in the pristine waters. If you are a boater you can rent a boat from the local marina or bring your own because the dock is only ¼ mile from the bay and open water, and this bay offers some of the best fishing in Florida. Its large fenced in patio surrounded by fruit trees and well-manicured Florida fauna is a great place to relax and just enjoy the day with a cook out.
Sanibel Island is the perfect place to go for an island getaway, with its soft white sands, expansive beaches, swaying coconut palms, lush tropical foliage and beautiful crystal blue waters. Sanibel is a true island lifestyle, half the island has been set aside as a nature reserve, the largest is J. N. “Ding” Darling Wild life refuge, which welcomes visitors to view and enjoy over 200 species of birds and animals. The park has numerous bike trails and kayaking areas for you to explore.

We arrived on Sanibel on Christmas Day, the decorations on the island were very pretty. Kevin met us at the house to inform us how to operate the pool and hot tub and show us where everything was. He was also gracious enough to be sure that we had food and drinks to get us by until we could get to the grocery store. We had everything we needed, and we enjoyed a wonderful vacation. Fishing poles, bicycles and pool toys were provided; we made use of all of them! We would recommend this house for anyone wishing to enjoy the island and its amenities or the solitude of the neighborhood where it is located.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.
