  Hi Jean Noel It was a very positive experience staying in Apartment Double in Montmartre. The two bathrooms made things with two teenage daughters far easier than it might have been otherwise. The apartment was quiet, especially when one closed the windows, but we enjoyed the sounds of the neighborhood ( and even early morning birds!) The apartment was exactly as advertised, and although we did not make use of the extra room with the washer, it’s availability was appreciated. The apartment was spotlessly clean on our arrival, and we found your instructions clear and complete. We really appreciated the crisp white sheets and duvet covers! The fact that only one set of keys was available caused a bit of organization, but we do understand that it was out of your control. Thank you to Karen who explained the situation, when she phoned to find out how many sets we retrieved during self check-in. The distance to the Abbesses metro station was a nice daily walk, and we found using the metro easy to reach all the other areas of interest. We appreciate the prompt manner in which you dealt with all aspects of the contract, finances and questions. We recommend using your agency unconditionally.

  This unit has everything you need. The owner has left a detailed list to cover any problems, but also is available on the phone if needed. It is one block from Sacre Coeur but 2 blocks to the west is Abysses street with all the shopping, bars restaurants, bakeries, etc. that you would need. It's not a main tourist destination so its quieter and less crowded. The apartment is on the 3rd floor with a bonus room on the 2nd. Comfortable beds with 2 full bathrooms. No air conditioning, but being on the hill there is almost always a breeze and once the windows are opened it cools down quickly. To any of the must see attractions is only 15 min. on the Metro. Take a cab from Gare du Nord when arriving. The owner says it costs 45 Euros, but we took a cab when we arrived and when we left and the cost was 17 Euros and 26 Euros (we had 2 more people and 3 more bags when we left so it cost more). Follow the instructions when arriving and print out the map of the apartment and where to pick up the keys to save yourself any stress. Great unit for exploring and experiencing Paris.

  Owner response: Dear Jay, Thanks for your very nice comments. Just a detail about cab fares: We indicate approx. cost is 45 euros from Charles de Gaulle airport, not from Gare du Nord. Gare du nord is effectively much nearer and so less expansive. Hope to host you again in Paris ! Sincerely, JN

  We love Paris and it's nice to stay in Montmartre in such a nice apartment. We found the detailed instructions very helpful. The apartment was very clean and in a great location for restaurants and site seeing. 2 metro stations are within a couple of minutes walk. This was our favourite accommodation in Europe (and we stayed in several). It was a very positive experience and we would gladly stay there again. We would absolutely recommend the apartment to others.

  We loved staying at “Double” apartment, it was perfect for us and we spent a great week. It was in a perfect location of the charming Montmartre, easily accessible to the Metro and the rest of Paris, to the Sacre Coeur and the neighboring restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. The apartment was so convenient too, well fitted out, comfortable and quiet. We had a fantastic time there and enjoyed feeling “at home”. Check-in and check-out were easy, security deposit was returned quickly…Thanks and highly recommended.!

  Hello, Just wanted to thank you for all your help with our Paris trip/rental. The apartment suited our needs wonderfully.
