'One of the nicest rentals in Driggs.'
MAKE THIS HOUSE YOUR VACATION GET-AWAY! Spend a romantic week\weekend with your special someone in the cozy atmosphere of this new home. Rendezvous here with some old (or new) friends. Larger than it looks, the house is also perfectly suited for a family vacation. Stick around the house, enjoy some of the local activities and cuisine, or plan a site-seeing trip to nearby attractions.
Situated in Teton Valley in Driggs, Idaho, this 4-bedroom, 3-bath, fully furnished home is located on the east side of Driggs in a nice, new subdivision just down the hill from Grand Targhee Ski and Summer Resort. It is at an elevation of 6,200 feet and features views of the mountains all around, with a stunning, close-up view of the Grand Teton and Grand Targhee.
The house is built in a unique style with 4 levels. It sleeps 5 to 8 people in beds (2 queens, 1 double, and 1 bunk bed).
It features a fully furnished kitchen, granite countertops, vaulted ceilings, a patio with a gas BBQ, a spacious lawn, a 2-car garage, a pool table, a laundry room, a gas fireplace, a 46-inch flat screen TV with digital cable, a DVD/Blu-Ray player, WIFI wireless Internet (as well as jacks for ethernet cables), a game area with a table for card and board games, and more.
A nearby recreational trail leads to a small neighborhood park/picnic area about a block away. The house is only 2 miles from downtown Driggs, yet is also centrally located for a variety of day trips:
- about 10 miles from GRAND TARGHEE SKI AND SUMMER RESORT
- about 30 miles from JACKSON, WYOMING
- about 1 hour from BEAR WORLD
- 45 min to 1 hour from GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK
- 1 1/2 hours from YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK
EASY ENTRY: Guests receive a PIN code for their stay, so that they can proceed directly to the home without having to meet someone to pick up a key.
AREA ACTIVITIES: Teton Valley, where Driggs is located, is across the pass from Jackson, Wyoming. Both areas offer many activities for the family or adventurist. Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park are also nearby. Teton Valley is called 'The best of both states' and is an amazing base from which to access hundreds of popular locations and activities. The hiking, biking, climbing, exploring, hot-air balloon races, horseback riding, snowmobiling, skiing, wildlife viewing, white water rafting, fishing, spelunking, dinner theater, and other activities in the shadows of the Tetons guarantee an unmatched vacation experience.
DEEP POWDER: Grand Targhee is famous for their 500 annual inches of snow and the long ski season in some of the world's best powder. Just 30 miles away is the historic western destination of Jackson, Wyoming, and Jackson Hole Ski Resort.
SNAKE RIVER has world-class fishing and white-water rafting. The many miles of bike trails attract bicyclists the world over. A bike/hiking trail is even adjacent to property. There are many popular activities in the National Parks. For example, in Grand Teton National Park, you can take a ferry across Jenny Lake, which is right in front of Grand Teton, and take the short hike up to the amazing 'Hidden Falls.' Teton Valley also has direct access to the nearby Teton Canyon and Darby Canyon, where trails lead to breathtaking views of the valley and the Tetons or up to the famous 'Wind Caves.'
Fishing is fantastic, whitewater rafting and float trips are popular, wildlife viewing and hiking are unmatched, and the scenery is amazing. For people who prefer city and historical west attractions, the town of Jackson is the place to be.
The Tetons themselves attract rock climbers and explorers from around the world. The stark rock faces rise from amidst the plains of Jackson Hole to create an awe-inspiring view from every perspective in the area.
FLIGHTS: Most guests to Teton Valley fly into Jackson Hole Airport (JAC) which is about an hour from the house. Guests can also fly into Idaho Falls (1 hour 15 min drive), West Yellowstone (1 1/2 hour drive), or some people prefer to make the longer drive up from Salt Lake City (4-5 hours).

The home was clean, everything worked (appliances, showers, faucets, etc.) and it is in a very quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the back yard BBQ, biking on the neighborhood streets and close proximity to Teton Canyon and Grand Targhee. We plan to return and use this home in the future. Thanks!

An Excellent Experience
An Excellent Experience
We stayed in this lovely home over Christmas week. We skied four days at Grand Targhee and snowshoed one day in Teton Canyon. Targhee is one of the only places we know that reliably has good snow over Christmas week. We've been coming for years, but usually stay on the hill. This year we were an extended family grouping. There were seven of us, so we looked for a house. This house was perfect. We never felt crowded. It was very nice to have four bedrooms. Comfortable beds, ample bathrooms. Loved the master bath and closet! The kitchen was well supplied with quality items. We cooked all of our suppers and breakfasts. The table seated seven comfortably. It was also great for playing games into the evening. An unexpected treat, the small stereo in the kitchen allowed us to connect up our iPods and listen to our own music. (Many rental places do not seem to consider having something like that available.) Love the view from the dining area window - you can see the Grand Teton! We played pool several evenings - this was a real treat! The comfy family room was a great place to open Christmas gifts. Having a two car garage to use was awesome, and there is a rack to put skis and snowshoes. It was all so very handy! As some of our party was flying into Jackson, they chose to send some packages ahead. Mark and Linda were very accommodating and actually ensured the packages were in the living room when we arrived. Great communication, and above and beyond personal service! We have also been in this area in the summer. We usually camp, but this home would be a great base for exploring the area. Jackson Hole, Grand Teton National Park, the Mesa falls area, and Island Park are all easily accessible and provide a real variety of experiences. Grand Targhee is fun to explore in the summer - take the Dreamcatcher lift up and hike (or mountain bike) down. Thanks so much! This was a great experience.

This is a beautiful place to stay with a great view. The house itself looks brand new and has all the best amenities. Driggs is a great place to visit and to stay as there are a lot of fun things to do both summer and winter, especially if you love the outdoors. It's a real bargain for the price and we plan to stay there again in the near future
