  I've stayed at this beautiful home on the lake in the summer and winter, and loved it in both seasons! The beauty of the lake and all that it offers in the summer are perfect, along with the location and other amenities offered nearby. In the winter, it is a whole different kind of beauty, with a quiet stillness that can't be beat. 49 Degrees North Ski Resort was very close offering some snow adventure, with a warm, inviting home to come back to. There is plenty of space to enjoy a family reunion or a quite weekend getaway. Thank you for sharing the beauty of Deer Lake!

  New to the area our family took advantage of this great home. Wide open spaces, 10' + ceilings, all the features of home and 25 minutes to 49 Degrees North skiing. Gorgeous wood work, beautiful floors, comfy furnishings, amazing views and very relaxing. Can't wait to come back for a long weekend or two this winter and in the summer. The lake is right outside the back french doors (15 steps and you're in the water), with a dock, volleyball court next door. We'll bring our boat to dock outside the back door. Great times!!!

  We went to Deer Lake for a family reunion. We stayed at the Legacy house for 7 days and had an amazing time. The house was beautiful. It was everything we expected and more. We had a private dock/beach. We were the envy of all of our family members who stayed in other homes around the lake or at the camp ground. The owner was very helpful, nice and accommodating. We will be back for sure and will stay no where other than the Legacy House!

  Most definitely an awesome place to stay and come back to! We LOVED it! Each year our family takes a vacation to a lake destination, usually Loon Lake as we have a family cabin on that lake. This year we weren't able to use the family cabin so looked for a place that we could do the same types of activities (boating, tubing, swimming, relaxing, beach front, etc..) ... the Legacy Lake House was perfect for us!! The sun exposure on this property is excellent, the house is southern facing and has sun pretty much the entire day. We were very worried about millfoil being an issue at Deer Lake as we know it is a problem in some of our WA lakes ... there are places on the lake where the millfoil is at the surface but not at this property and the places where millfoil is at the surface is definitely not the norm. The vast majority of the lake is clear. They are excellent property owners ... we got a hole in our tube towards the end of our vacation and they offered us use of their tube. Not remotely expected but greatly appreciated by us (and the kids) :-). The house is beautiful ... very up to date, super clean, awesome view of the lake, perfect size for the 7 people we had there. The pictures they have posted on this listing are definitely an accurate reflection of the house. There was only one recommendation we gave Shelley, and it was possibly to upgrade the bed in the guest bedroom. And if I am not mistaken ... she already has one on order. Which I believe is a great reflection on their character!! If you get a chance to meet the rest of the family you won't be disappointed, their kids are very nice and totally cute. Dave and Shelley, you aren't too bad either. :-) JK. Thanks for everything ... we hope to see you guys again next summer!

  We had a small family reunion here including ten month old twin grandsons. The house was very beautiful and clean. Access to the lake and the boat dock was perfect...just a few steps. We spent most of our time on the boat dock enjoying the perfect weather so typical of Eastern WA. We found just about everything we needed to cook and live for a week in the house.......except a cork screw, which Shelley quickly remedied. This was our first experience with renting a home for a vacation. There was no instruction sheet or manual as to what we would be responsible for as far as clean up, replacing supplies, etc. We were left wondering if we were responsible for washing bedding, washing windows, cleaning the oven, etc. We cleaned everything we touched, but didn't wash the bedding. We would have been happy to take care of whatever was necessary if we had access to information letting us know what we needed to do. This part was a simple "failure to communicate". We spent most of our vacation relaxing, laying in the sun, enjoying the family, fishing, and not worrying about cleaning, etc until the morning we were scheduled to leave. This is a great vacation place and the landlord is a very nice lady. We would come back!

I appreciate the feedback on the instruction sheet as I am new at this as well. Although we verbally went over these things upon arrival, it helps to have everything written down for reference at check out time. I will make this available in written form for future guests. • Amazing Lake Cabin!

  We were able to stay at this cabin during the summer and it was beautiful and relaxing! There is plenty of space in the very clean, brand new home. Beautiful furnishings, fully stocked kitchen, and it sits literally right on the water! The views are amazing and the outdoor patios are great for spending time relaxing outside! Owners provided everything we could need and were kind and generous! Private beach, a nice dock for your boat (or sunbathing!), right next door is a lake resort with more recreational opportunities, gorgeous hikes/walks, a wonderful lakeside community, even a beautiful lilly-pad section of the lake is close by! The walk around the lake was one of our favorite activities- so gorgeous and fun houses and things to look at! The owners know a ton about the area, the resort next door, the ski resort nearby, the best places to get food and even an ice cream the size of your head! We would love to stay here again, hope to next summer!

  We all enjoyed our stay tremendously! I really liked the beach directly in front and being able to wake up to the view of the lake. The home is very spacious, clean and comfy. Loved the evening BBQ while watching the kids play in the water and on the dock. The lake was alive with activity but not to busy on this weekend. I would highly recommend for anyone just wanting to relax in style or bring the family and enjoy the water and fun.

  This is a beautiful and immaculate home! The view is awesome, the patio overlooking the lake is spacious with a huge bbq for dinners lakeside, and the furniture inside the home is very comfortable! Did I mention the fact that this home is spotless?! The hosts were super helpful and friendly, making our stay that much better. I would strongly recommend this home to anyone just looking to get away and relax and enjoy the beauty of Deer Lake. We fished, swam, and overall just hung out together and had much needed wonderful family time together. Thank you Shelley and Dave for the fun, we look forward to returning again!   This Legacy Lake House is a vacation destination that is certain to leave lasting family memories. The Legacy has the feeling of home and is beautifully decorated. The relaxing atmosphere of the lake and forest is refreshing and relaxing. :)

June-August rents for $2000 a wk or $360 a night. 3 nights min. 50% deposit saves
your reservation.  $200 cleaning deposit collected upon arrival.  Winter rates
are $200 a night or $1100 a week and $200 cleaning deposit. Snow skiing is 30 mins
