Discover Coveside House, a Sea Captain-style home located on beautiful Southport Island on the coast of Maine, just an hour's drive from Portland, and minutes from Boothbay Harbor.
Our vacation rentals are four fully-equipped apartments (one and two bedrooms and baths), each with its own private entrance. In total there are 6 bedrooms/6 baths with overall sleeping capacity for 13 people, plus additional space for children. Coveside House overlooks Decker's Cove, and occupies over one acre of land graced with lawns, and gardens. Each apartment has a fully-equipped kitchen, cable television, telephone (local calls),bedding (linens available at additional cost), and come provided with all housekeeping consumables re paper products, cleaning supplies,etc. Each apartment is heated. There are barbecue grills in the backyard picnic area, and a dock facility available for small boats and KAYAKS .
During your stay, enjoy Boothbay Harbor's wonderful art galleries, shopping, and restaurants, a short five-minute drive from Coveside. While in the region, rent a sailboat or kayak, or join a boat cruise or whale-watching excursion. Go deep-sea fishing, hike a nature trail, or just relax in the serene natural setting of coastal Maine. Coveside House is approximately three hours from Boston, three hours from Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, one hour from Camden and Rockland, as well as just 45 minutes from Bath, Brunswick, and Freeport.
