Our family of 5 spent a week at Vista Linda and had a great time. Excellent location, very quiet and private. We spent most of our time outside. The pool and dock area were great. We used the kayaks every day and caught enough fish for a couple meals. Saw lots of sea life including dolphins, rays, sea turtles, even lobsters under the dock. Beds were comfortable. We loved the well stocked kitchen. Had a few minor problems. Laundry/beds weren't done when we got there and the pool was malfunctioning but both issues were resolved quickly to our satisfaction. Many excellent restaurants close by. Bring your own fishing gear. We would definitely return someday.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Vista Linda was everything we could have wanted. A contemporary and stylishly decorated home on the ocean, with a heated in-ground pool, gourmet kitchen and fantastic sunsets that ended each day. We spent 2 weeks at Vista Linda and hated to leave. Watching a school of dolphins swim by the end of the dock one night was just one memory we will always have. The beds are very comfortable and the house is in a perfect location. It's impeccably clean and well cared for. We did have a bit of an issue with the heater in the pool, but I'm sure that's been addressed by now. We highly recommend Vista Linda to anyone who wants to get away from the crowds, cold and noise of a city and totally relax on Marathon Key, where the biggest decision of the day is whether to take your afternoon nap on the huge hammock or in one of the lounge chairs overlooking the ocean !Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

This place was everything I expected and then some! I rented a place in the keys last year and was disappointed with the house and the view so I was very careful in locating a rental this year to make sure I had covered all my bases, but you still can't be sure until you get there. The house was newly renovated, modern, clean and had comfortable beds, plenty of linens and towels. Kitchen was well equiped and modern, nice open floor plan with plenty of space. The view's from the living room and master bedroom are awesome, would love to wake up to that every day. Loved the backyard space, very private from neighbors, very big and the space is well used with different areas. The dock is great, we rented a boat and fished right off the dock. Bikes and snorkel gear included and were great ammenities, two kayaks in great condition were also a great bonus! We will definately return. Only negative is though the 2nd bedroom doesn't have a view and though the singles convert to a king, it still isn't as comfey as a regular king bed. Overall I highly recommend this place, what you see is not what you get, it is better in my opinion!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

we spent a memorable week at Vista Linda. We found the property to be as advertised. It was very clean. I would recommend the property to anyone. Enjoyed mornings on the dock watching the fishing boats heading out to sea. Watched the iguanas while cooling off in the pool. Great place to spend a relaxing vacation. The perfect vacation spot in the Keys! The most Beautiful Sunsets in the Keys and in your own backyard. Watch from the pool, spa, or lounge chairs. The house has everything you could ever need. We cooked, grilled, and ate out. There are enough restuarants in Marathon to never go anywhere else. We did spend a day in Key West but came back to the house for the sunset. We rented a boat, fished, snorkled, kayaked, and played in the pool. It was an Amazing Vacation!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

We were so lucky to have found this jewel of a home and location on our VRBO search. We so enjoyed ourselves and are looking forward to returning next year hopefully. This was booked so that my husband could fulfill his bucket list item of catching a tarpon. Well he succeeded and so did I. It was so nice to come home to a house after spending time out fishing, to have our own swimming pool or if we choose a dip in the gulf. No hotels for us,sharing the pool and amenities, we had it all to ourselves at Vista Linda. The owners have thought of everything, the kitchen is stocked with utensils/pots and pans/dishes/serving plates and platters... the beds are comfortable, cable, dvd player, plenty of seating. The whole experience was wonderful and the home delightful.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We enjoyed this home so much! We were happy just to hang out and relax. Everything you need to enjoy and relax on a vacation is right there. Enjoyed fishing off the dock, snorkeling in the gulf, swimming or sunbathing in the pool, BBQ grill, just endless possibilities for a great vacation. Beautifully decorated, kitchen well equipped. It was one of our best vacations ever! We plan to return for sure. The only change we would suggest is a queen or king bed in the guest bedroom. There were 2 couples in our party so we had to push the twin beds together in that room which was satisfactory but not perfect. However I understand that thereare others perhaps with children or singles who would prefer twin beds. Thank you so much for offering this home for rent!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Spent 7 nights of beautiful weather, accomodations and fun. Thorough enjoyed the pool, hot tub, kayaks, fishing dock, hammock and bicycles. The sunset was amazing. Was visited by a huge turtle, dolphin, manatee and iguanas. Imagine our surprise at the community peacocks! Was relaxation with an exclamation point. Nothing was missed in preparation for guests, down to the stemware, cooking utensils, and appliances. Hopefully, we will have the opportunity to visit Vista Linda again. My husband and I stayed in this wonderful rental for 5 perfect nights! This home is pristine and the owners have paid attention to every detail; from the luxury towels and bed linens to the flamingo salt and pepper shakers. It has every comfort and amenity you could think of. Not only is the home beautiful, but the backyard and view are reminiscent of paradise! We spent many hours in the pool, spa and watching the sunset from the dock...not to mention our sightings of searays, tropical fish and lobsters! We even caught several fish from the dock and cooked them up for dinner! The house is located on a very nice private street but is also close to restaurants and stores if you choose to go out! It's the perfect location. I cannot wait to come back to stay in this magical place!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We were there with our family for Thanksgiving week...it was just a perfect vaction...Very private...Great location - close to restaurants and shopping...Great fishing / wildlife on and below the dock: pelicans, cranes, egrets, manatees, lobsters, stone crabs, snappers, grunts....Lovely sunsets....The house was pristine and beautifully decorated...Brand new and well appointed kitchen...Very comfortable beds...Large family room...Plenty of outdoor seating/relaxing by the pool and spa...Just great - Cant wait to come back!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Extremely clean, well kept, beautiful home with everything you could possibly need. Right on the gulf with dock, pool, and spa. Owners were flexible with our schedule and quick with service. Location is perfect, out of congested areas with plenty of access to things to do and all the attractions on the Keys. We will def be back to stay here again!Did you find this review helpful? We are spending 10 days at this fabulous home and do not want to leave! The house is amazing - beautifully decorated and very well equipped with everything you will ever need. The beds and linens are exquisite - the highest of quality. We've never slept so good! The kitchen has EVERYTHING. We've been able to prepare full gourmet meals while still enjoying the amazing view. Speaking of the view... WOW! We spend hours just gazing at the horizon. The kids love the pool and the deck is not slippery. There are plenty of comfortable lounge areas - sunny and shady. We caught a couple of fish right from the dock using the supplied fishing rods, but mostly use the dock for relaxing since we didn't bring a boat. (Next time!) The dock is also a great place to watch the most amazing sunsets you will ever see. We've done some swimming and snorkeling off the dock -surprisingly good. We've seen Puffer Fish, angle fish, and many others. We've really enjoyed the kayaks too. Paddled out to a distance island one day which was a fun adventure. We've also used the bikes that are included with the house to tour around the neighborhood, which is a very quite, residential area. Another thing we love about this house is the privacy. It is beautifully landscaped so that you feel as if you are in your own private cove. We've been to the Keys many times over the years. Even lived in the lower Keys for a few years. This is absolutely the best place we have found. The owner, rental agent and caretaker have been an absolute pleasure to deal with. We consider it a nice relief to no longer need to spend hours searching for place to stay. We will book Vista Linda every time.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

my soulmate and I stayed in this home the week of 4th of July ..it was so hard to leave! the photos are wonderful but to see it in person took my breath away! everything was perfect! the attention to detail was amazing..there was nothing that we needed! the owners have thought of EVERYTHING! from bikes and a lock to wine openers (2 of them!) lol ..fishing poles, life jackets, wonderful high end sheets and towels! we loved the decor ..makes me want to go redo my home! we had never been to The Keys and wanted to be close to Key West. the location was perfect! made sure to go fishing with Bud and Mary's at the start of your trip $60 for all day! we had enough fish to last the whole week! bring your Ipod for there is a hook up outside! pack very little clothes for they have a great washer and dryer..we fished off the dock, went swimming & kayaking daily..we danced , watched the sunsets and had a great time..the caretaker was very fast to return calls and answer any questions we had..we never really left much but to go shopping for food! lol we saw a sea turtle from the dock on the last day..it was like he was saying good bye! the owners have other locations and WE will be using them!! The fireworks in Marathon where better than the ones we saw in New York City lasy year! ..I could write a novel on this home and what the area has to offer!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
