  It was really great! One of the pull outs in loft hurt my back but the weather was perfect and we had a blast! Didn't find Bigfoot though :(

  Had a wonderful, quiet holiday in the great cabin. Close to trails and village, but tucked away enough you felt a little secluded.

  This cabin has it all, from the wonderful porch swing and hammock, to the amazing jetted tub in the master suite. Our 4, 5,8, an 13 year old never ran out of things to do. There were board games, movies, plenty of activities outside, and so much more. For our family movie night, we all enjoyed the Bose theater system. The kitchen has everything you need to make large family meals....we packed way too much, not knowing exactly what the kitchen contained. The decor in the cabin was perfect and the furniture was oh so cozy! The pre-stocked firewood by the fireplace was also appreciated considering the rain showers we encountered. We loved this place! Cannot wait to come back.

  We rented this cabin for the weekend with my family. We have two small kids. The house was beautiful and I would highly recommend. Our kids were tired each day from being outside all day long. What a pleasure to see them just enjoying nature. The people on the mountain were very friendly and we are in the process of booking another week for this summer to bring our toys.

  We had a party two families, a total of 11 people, and we were looking to get away from Salt lake City over the holiday weekend.. The home fit our needs perfectly. The bedrooms fit us all perfectly. We had children ranging in age from 4 months to 12 years old. There was plenty of room for the kids to play, a great kitchen to cook our own meals, and a great table and breakfast bar to eat our meals. The wrap around deck provided excellent star gazing at night. We spent one day exploring the duck creek village, visting a local fishing hole, and taking a short hike. We spent the second day going to Bryce Canyon (a 48 mile drive which winds through some beautiful country). The laundry was not all dry upon appiaval but it was no big deal.. I strongly recommend this property.

  we stayed here over the labor day weekend and had an amazing time! the cabin is beautiful with pretty much everything you need. todd was more than helpful making our stay an easy transaction. only problem the cleaning crew should be fired todd, your definitely not getting your moneys worth, i hate to write anything negative since everything else was so great but you should know the cleaners are not doing their job.

  TRAVELERS BEWARE!! Do not deal with this shady owner unless you want the hassle and headaches of not having a place to stay upon arrival and months of trying to get your money refunded. You should be very suspicious that he only takes checks and not any other types of payments, there's a reason why!!! We reserved his cabin in Duck Creek Village for 2 nights from June 14-15, 2011. He only accepted checks and requested that we pay him the full balance 10 days prior to check in. On the day we arrived at his cabin at 8:00pm, the cabin was in complete disarray (ie. unkempt beds, dirty sheets and towels on the floor, trash was not taken out while some were piled up in front of house). Upon contacting him, he said that he would send a maid out to clean in half an hour. We waited for half an hour and no one showed up. Since it was getting late and his place was not inhabitable, we had to find somewhere else to stay. He agreed that he will not charge us after waiting for half an hour for a maid that never came. We ended up having to drive an hour to Cedar City to look for emergency lodging that night and scrambled for lodging for the next day as well. It caused us much additional and unnecessary inconvenience, which we did not even demand the owner to pay for. We simply just wanted a refund of what we had already paid. Upon returning home, I realized that he already cashed both of my checks days before we even checked in to his cabin. I tried to contact the owner of the cabin numerous times via email, phone, and complaint file via VRBO for my refund, but he did not respond for weeks. After a month, he finally sent me a check for only half of the amount he actually owed! This owner had drained my patience and left me with no choice but to leave this comment and seek legal action. I do not want other travelers like me to be swindled by shady VRBO owners like this owner.

  Owner response: Unfortunately, there was a mix-up in the arrival time for the cleaning service. We did send the cleaning crew up to the cabin. The people on the mountain are extremely cooperative, and were very apologetic about getting the arrival times mixed up. The cleaning crew was at the cabin within about an hour after the arrival. The guests left before their arrival. We agreed to pay for their lodging in town, in addition to making the cabin available. We refunded $245.00 for their one night. We are sorry for their unhappiness, we have rented for years and have never received a complaint, however we feel we more than covered the one nights stay with that compensation. We are sorry for the mix up, however we have hundreds of repeat renters that have been satisfied for years. The cleaning company we use has only once had the dates and times of the arrivals incorrect. Thanks
