  Defining home to three Libra sisters is a bit of a chore but this home is all that we might ask and more all within walking distance to anything and everything you might need in Captiva! We walked across the street and watched the sunrise each morning with a cup of coffee from the well equipped kitchen and down to the beach with a glass of wine or a cocktail in the evening to watch the sunrise from the beach just a short walk down the Sunset Captiva boardwalk. The pool and tennis courts are close but not so close that the noise interferes with your personal haven on the screened porch where we ate dinner that we were able to prepare without a glitch one night. We travel somewhere different from our respective homes each year for a getaway and this was so far by far the most memorable. Thank you for making it exceptional with such impeccable attention to detail in providing anything and everything that anyone might need, want or desire!

  My family just returned from Captiva Island and we loved our stay in Unit #33. Sunset Captiva is in a great, if not the best, location on Captiva! YOLO sports (jet skis, bike rental, para-sailing), The Bubble Room, Mucky Ducks and Cantina Captiva are all w/in walking distance. Everything we needed was included in our unit. (equipped kitchen/linens/beach towels/toys/wagon to cart all of your beach supplies). The pool is 1 house down and beyond the pool is the board walk to beach. On the property there are 3 of BBQ grills for use. We never had a problem when we wanted to use one. I would recommend Unit #33 for your vacation stay!

  I was a little nervous renting from vrbo, especially given the recent news on scams on these sites. Our family of 5 would be traveling 20 hours to get there. We were extremely happy with our choice, though! Carole was prompt, patient with both calls and emails. She sent a great email after we signed the contract outlining all the things we'd need to know. The house had everything we needed. The kids had a short walk to the pool and beach. There was a wagon to haul all our stuff. We'd walk over to Jenen's Marina to say hi to the manatees. Everything in downtown is just a short walk. The house was perfect for all of us to spread out and relax. The girls liked the loft:). Everyone voted to return next year!

  This beautiful house and island tuned out to be one of the best places we have visited. The house could not have been nicer and exceeded our expectations. It is immaculately clean, newly decorated, and has everything you need. It was nice to be able to unpack our bags, buy a few groceries and have everything you need right there for a perfect vacation. They have thought of everything from pots and pans to beach chairs and umbrellas. I loved that fact that the kitchen, dining area, and living room are all open to each other. The beach, pool, and tennis courts are only steps away and beautifully maintained. One of the really nice benifits was the communication we had with the owner. She always responed to our emails quickly and couldn't have been nicer. She answered all of our questions and even gave us her "best tips" on things like where to rent a boat or what's the best restaurant for a good burger. Is was nice to know she was only a phone call away if we needed anything. I would highly recommend this property and am looking forward to going back.

  This is very comfortable house for relaxing and enjoying the Florida sun. The house Is well maintained, the kitchen is fully equipped to meet all your needs. There is a barbecue grill available next to the swimming pool, a very short walk. The property was clean, beach chairs and towels for the beach along with assorted beach toys were all available at the property. There are many options for eating out, easy to get to by walking or a short dirve to Sanibel if you desire. The house has recently been updated with fresh paint and new furniture in the dinning area and living room. The bedrooms work well and sleep 6 very comfortably. I would highly recommend visiting this property in Sunset Captiva. A home away from home!

  What a time!!! This home was lovely. It was a getaway for the girls but a family would have a great time also. The home was extremely clean and well appointed. We found every thing that we needed for cooking, going to the beach, and just relaxing. The area is within a short walk to the beach (water sports rental facilities on location), restaurants and, for the children in us all, an ice cream shop. Captiva is wonderful and I am looking forward to a return visit.

  I have stayed at many spots on the islands over the years, but none more perfect or idyllic than the homes at Sunset Captiva. And of those, this is one of the best! Beautifully decorated with all the comforts, we relaxed as soon as we got in the door. While close to everything important (beach,pool,tennis), it still has a very private feel on it's large screened in porch. Loved that new kitchen and the way it opened out to the living and dining areas. It's even more beautiful in person than the photos show. Hope we can get back there soon!

  Just returned from a 5 day getaway at this property. The location is ideal and the property is one of the best in Sunset Captiva. It has been recently updated to provide renters with all the amenities one could ever need. I highly recommend it !
