“Champagne Views” is the name of my beach condo at the fabulous new Palazzo Resort. Haven’t heard of Palazzo? That’s OK. Like I said, we're new. We’re also the BEST!
I know, everyone on VRBO says that about their resort, but they’re…ummm…mistaken.
First off, the beach. This particular stretch, the 220 feet of beachfront that Palazzo sits atop, isn’t crammed with teens getting their drink on. No way. We’re on the quieter, more desirable west end where you see mostly couples and families.
Then there are the amenities. Every perk at Palazzo is elevated gulf front. Seriously, your car will have a better view than many of the people staying at other resorts (more on that later). Gulf front pool, gulf front jacuzzi, gulf front gym, gulf front sun deck, gulf front lobby, gulf front meeting room, gulf front parking. Anyway, you get the idea.
But the beach is the star…
The beach at Palazzo is, in a word, perfect. Sugary white sand leading to the clearest, most sparkly blue/green water imaginable. So step off the elevator and into the sand. Stretch out on a nice double chaise, directly on the beach, under the shade of a royal blue umbrella.
…and leave your wallet in the condo because I’ve taken care of VIP beach service.
That’s right, full beach service every day of your stay is included in the rate. If any of the other condos you are considering don’t offer this, add $150+ to the rate because you are going to want beachfront chairs and an umbrella.
So after you’ve relaxed on the beach (in swanky free chairs), worked up a sweat in the gym, soaked in the jaccazzi, and taken a dip in the pool—all while gazing at white sand and sparkly ocean—it’ll be time to get the flip flops on and head to Pier Park. It’s only 1 mile away, and it’s spectacular.
Pssst…you’ll need your wallet at Pier Park, for sure.
Now about the condo…
I named it Champagne Views for one reason. That stunning view. Although I will confess that I popped the top on a bottle of champagne...maybe two...when I bought the place so that may have contributed to the name.
Then I got to work. Painting, furnishing, decorating. It has a modern feel with dove gray walls and accent colors inspired by those awesome Gulf of Mexico sunsets. If you can tear your eyes from that gorgeous floor-to-ceiling view, you’ll find everything you need has been provided for your Panama City Beach vacation.
THE GREAT ROOM has two sleeper sofas (1 queen, 1 full). There’s a terrific new Sony Bravia HDTV loaded with channels (including 4 premiums: 2 HBOs & 2 Showtimes). And don’t overlook the high speed Internet connection or the awesome mini-stereo with both a CD and iPod player. Plus, the condo has 4 phones offering free local and US/Canada long distance during your stay.
THE BALCONY is enormous: 17 feet of gulf front beauty. Check out the two upholstered chaise lounges on one side, the loveseat seating group for 4 on the other, and that unstoppable view, front and center.
THE MASTER has a cushy 11” memory foam mattress, Sony Bravia TV, a cozy reading nook, and connected master bath...crisply clean and zen in spirit.
THE BUNK BEDROOM: Yep, not just beds stuck on a wall in the hall, but an actual room...with a door, closets, phone, wall-mounted Sony Bravia HDTV (again, the same cable package as the other rooms), and connected guest bath.
THE KITCHEN, where warm wood meets cool stainless and stone, is a stand-out. It comes completely stocked with everything you need. I stayed there MANY weekends while furnishing the place, so I know this to be a fact.
THE DINING AREA has a generous table with 4 comfy upholstered chairs PLUS another 4 people can belly up to the breakfast bar when its time to entertain.
THE LAUNDRY area’s located in the unit to make keeping everyone in clean clothes a breeze.
…now more about that great view for your car.
Palazzo, by Panama City Beach standards, is a low-density resort with only 129 units and 172 covered parking spaces under the building. That’s right. No need to park your car across the street and schleppe your luggage down a long walk-over. And with 3 hi-speed elevators, you won’t have to wait. That’s a common complaint at other resorts. Waiting 15+ minutes for an elevator to arrive. Never the case at Palazzo.

My wife and I were very pleased with the week we spent at Champagne Views. It was obvious from the moment we stepped in the condo that Kathy has put plenty of time and effort in customizing her condo for our enjoyment. Great views of the ocean, convenient parking under the building, great access to elevators, excellent kitchen and very clean and well decorated. We had great beach access and good shopping options with The Pier located minutes from the condo. Kathy is a pleasure to work with and we look forward to staying in the condo again! If Champagne Views is available, look no further and book your week immediately!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

First, there is no better person to rent from! and no better place to stay. Lots of beach funstuff. FAB deck furniture. You will be so glad you stayed here if you are visiting Panama City Beach. Palazzo is very quiet and secure but has plenty to do - beautiful beach, of course, but also lovely pool and hot tub. The people on staff are so friendly and helpful - especially Aimee. You are across the street from a really nice Winn-Dixie, close to the Sandbar for delicious seafood, and within walking distance of Pier Park. Is there anything you could possibly need - it's there. Just want to say a word about the furnishings. Really good washer/dryer, dishwasher, tv's. But really, the deck furniture alone would sell you. Comfy and lots of it - everyone who stopped by commented on the fact that their place had plastic chairs or only a few chairs and small table. Kathy has two padded chairs, a small table (plenty big for a nice meal), a padded loveseat, and TWO great chaise lounges. I had the chair on the beach in March (which was also really nice), but I spent lots more time out on the deck. You will be so glad you spent your vacation here!Recommended for: People with disabilities, families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

As other reviewers stated previously, the pictures just don't do it justice. Champagne Views was all that and more -- spotless, plenty of room, impeccably appointed, gorgeous view, comfortable balcony furniture (loved the chaise!!), and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Everything you could possibly think of is provided, and that's a big plus!! The beach was clean and not crowded at all. I had a wonderful time, and this is where I'll stay on my next visit to PCB, which I hope is soon!!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

We recently had the pleasure of spending six glorious days at Champagne Views. The condo was absolutely beautiful and amazingly clean. And believe me when I say I am very hard to impress when it comes to condos or hotels just ask my husband lol but seriously I was very impressed with Unit 805. From the moment we walked in the door it was like being at home but with a much nicer view. Sunsets from the balcony are amazing and we actually got to see dolphins playing in the ocean from the balcony several times. The owner, Kathy, is so patient and very nice. We will be staying at Champagne Views on all of our future visits to Panama City! We highly recommend this condo in fact I have already told all our family and friends about it. We just got back from a wonderful week at the beach in the best condo I've ever stayed in!! The condo was much bigger than it appears and is decorated beautifully!! It was well stocked with linens, cookware, beach supplies, and bathroom necessities. Kathy, the owner was a joy to work with and we can't wait to come back!!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Our stay was perfect. Not only was this the cleanest condo I have ever had the pleasure of staying in, but it is also very well mantained, tastefully decorated, and very well stocked. Kathy was a joy to work with, truly caring about the comfort of her guests. I must say it was just like "borrowing a friends home". I would feel confident in recommending this retreat to my own father. My family and I had a wonderful time during our stay! The condo is absolutely beautiful! Actually, this is the first time I've been back to this listing since our stay. I will say looking at the pictures makes me sad...we miss this place. We had a great time there, it has a true "home" feel! Matter of fact, every time we'd be out on the beach, riding go karts, dinner, shopping, etc. our kids would get tired and ask when we were going back home (as in the condo). :) The views, kitchen, beds, decor...every single thing about the condo is just what you'd expect on a perfect vacation. :) Kathy really has went above & beyond to make every stay great! Kathy is also very helpful, quick responses, very kind and just a joy! We do plan to return to PCB, and this is where you will find us! Also, all of the beach toys, coolers, cups, binoculars, dvd's..everything..it's all there! And then there's the beach service! Wow! Oh..and the staff is great! Very friendly..and the entire facility is very clean! I could go on & on! Thank you, Kathy, you're place is amazing, and you made our stay unforgettable!Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Opportunities come and go,but do not pass up the chance to stay at Champange Views! Kathy's attention to details will not disappoint your highest expectations. About the owner: My name is Kathy, and I'm a recent retiree who just moved back to their hometown of Knoxville, TN (GO VOLS!). I bought this place when I was still a workaholic (Nov/2010) in order to spend precious down time with family and friends. Now that I'm retired, I plan to make it my home away from home. FYI...not working is AWESOME!!!
