  Our time spent at Mike's lake home this summer was A+1. The house was beautiful and the property was very well kept. We spent many peaceful mornings sitting on the deck, appreciating the silence and the crisp clean air. The night the eagle came and perched in one of the trees in the yard was so cool for our grandchildren to see...and adults too! The fishing was great, considering it was the end of July. It was nice going out on a lake that was not overrun with boats. My grandson will never forget catching his first walleye while bobber fishing off the boat. We highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a quiet place to spend your vacation. Thank you Mike for all the extra effort you put into accommodating your guests. We will be back!

  What a gorgeous home. Very, very clean and comfortable. Everything you need is there except your own personal items. Beautiful views and yard. Great lake for fishing, boating, skiing, floating:) Nice large deck to eat on or play games/cards, etc. Close to Walker where there is abundant shopping, dining and other fun activities. You can't go wrong staying here! We thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back. Just not soon enough!!!!

  My wife, 17 year old daughter, 2 grandsons, mother in law, and sister in law had an absolutely fantastic time at this property. Mike was extremely helpful with any information we needed, be it fishing, where to go for food, supplies, and what other things there were to do around the area. The property was VERY nice, and had plenty of room. It really looks better than the pictures on the website. We fished, and fished, and fished (my grandson's and I), and we swam off the dock as well. The water was a little cool for the 4 year old, but he still enjoyed it. The boat lift, fish cleaning station in the lower level of the cabin, toys for the boys to play with, puzzles, games, and all you would need are there. We brought some things we thought we might need, but found that they were already provided. If you like relaxing by a nice fire pit at the end of the day and listening to the loons on the lake, then this place is for you. We saw several bald eagles, and one actually was perched in a tree in the yard on the last day we were there. VERY COOL. Fishing was very good, and the lake was never crowded at all. I would go back here in a minute. Thanks Mike for letting us use your cabin, we really enjoyed it !!

  The owner (Mike) was VERY helpful, friendly, and easy to work with. He gave us great directions to the cabin, the cabin itself was very comfortable, spacious, and decorated nicely. The kitchen had every appliance and tool imaginable, the fish cleaning facility was great, he was willing to guide us to where fish were biting. Longville is not far away, but we spent the majority of our time on the lake, fishing and just cruising. The sunsets were absolutely gorgeous. We would recommend this cabin highly!

  My wife and I have rented different places for 7 years now, and this was the best one yet! The cabin has everything you need, electric and lights down at the dock, a great view, firepit, deck, electric boat lift, a Fantastic area to clean fish, nice clean bathrooms, a garage, gas grill, and Mike keeps this place exceptionally clean. We caught some of the nicest bluegills we have ever caught, with two weighing over a pound. If no Air conditioning is a problem, sleep in the basement, where it is nice and cool. Mike is easy to work with, knows the lake, and is more than willing to help you find fish. I would recommend this rental to anyone, as the place has everything you would want in a northwoods vacation. If you want to visit town, longville is only 9 miles away, and walker is only 24, both fun places to visit. We are looking forward to next summer.

  We very much enjoyed staying at this lake home on Boy Lake. The owner of the property couldn't have been easier to work with. On the transaction side everything went as planned. The owner gave us great directions to get to the property and the home was in fantastic condition. This cabin has everything you need for a week's stay and the owner allowed us to use his gas grill and really anything else that was there that we might need. He has a top notch fish-cleaning facility in his basement, and we caught lots of fish. We had 12 people stay total and there was plenty of room for the group. We enjoyed the week very much and would not hesitate to rent the home again. It was a super value for the money.
