This home was purchased as a vacation home for our family and friends so it has all the comforts of home with no clutter or excess furniture. Great care was taken to choose comfortable furniture and bedding throughout. We wanted to relax and be pampered when coming to our mountain home. It is the perfect home to have kids and adults as there is a large basement family room with a huge sectional, 50 inch TV, Xbox, cozy fireplace and a large jetted hot tub just outside under the covered deck. Upstairs, you have another fabulous area to enjoy. It is an open space concept with Kitchen, dining and living so all can mingle and watch the snow come down through the two story large windows with fireplace and deck outside. The kitchen is equipped with plenty of dishes, high end appliances and quality cookware for any chef to whip up a delicious meal for the family. Other rooms on the main level include a mudroom with a washer/dryer, and a walk in pantry. The home has noiseless radiant heat throughout with several individually controlled zones to maintain perfect climate control for all individuals. Air conditioning keeps it nice and cool during the summer.
Sleeping arrangements include a spacious master suite with fireplace, and a jetted tub in the master bath. On the main level, there is a second bedroom with queen bed and an additional bunk room perfect for sleeping five to six kids. Downstairs, there are 3 more rooms which sleeps eight. These bedrooms include one king bedroom, one queen bedroom with a separate trundle bed and an additional queen bed in the third bedroom.
We are located in a premier private neighborhood just minutes to 3 of the best skiing and snowboarding in the country. located 0.3 miles to Waldorf Astoria lift for The Canyons or a 2-minute drive to The Canyons main parking. The Canyons is the largest ski resort in Utah with (now 4000 ski able acres). There is also a free shuttle located 0.2 miles away that will take you to Park City Mountain Resort, Deer Valley, Main Street Park City, shopping, Groceries, etc. Nearby is the 2002 Winter Olympics Center where you can skate or take an incredible bobsled ride.
There are five other ski resorts less than 45 minutes away. Salt Lake international Airport is less than 35 minutes.
I have been here for a girl’s trip in the summer and ate every meal on the deck while watching the wildlife, hot air balloons and the many passing brief lightning storms. Hundreds of miles of biking and hiking trails are just out the front door. Pack a lunch and ride the town lift up to top of the mountain for a picnic (great spot for wedding proposal). For those of you who enjoy golf, Park City boasts several championship quality public golf courses. Whitewater rafting and fly fishing, hot air balloons and Farmer’s Markets are a few activities not to miss

This place was terrific! The pictures don't do it justice and I was very happy when we walked in the door to see just how beautiful it really was. Everything seemed like it was brand new and we could not have enjoyed the accommodations more than we did. The jacuzzi was hot and ready for us upon arrival and they were kind enough to leave us a wonderful care basket full of goodies and information. We could have walked to the Canyons resort lift but chose to take the 2 minute car ride over and enjoyed the wonderful views from the deck. We were super close to tons of restaurants and grocery options as well. Our families plan on making this an annual trip and we think we've found the place we want to stay at for years to come!Owner response: I'm so happy that you enjoyed the house. We really do try to make everything perfect from the moment you enter the house. It is always music to our ears when we hear how excited the kids are as they pick out their rooms and fight over the loft bed. Renting other homes in the past for our own family vacations, I know how important the simple things are that make a difference like 2 ply toilet paper and sharp knives. This is really a great place. We stayed here with 13 family members and skied at Park City and The Canyons. The house is everything that it is advertised. Very clean and well decorated with comfortable and stylish touches. The master bedroom and bathroom are just perfect with nice views of the mountains. The kitchen had every amenity that we needed including quality cookware which is pretty uncommon. The living room and downstairs family room had plenty of videos, books, and games to keep everyone happy. We rented cars so we didn't use the shuttle but it looked fairly easy to do. There is also a big garage to store skis and boards. Overall it was a great and comfortable experience and I would highly recommend the house. While the pictures of this property are great, they really don't do it justice. The home is beautiful, with plenty of room for our 13 co-workers/couples to relax, cook and have fun. Everything was clean, the decor was mountain-inspired without being over the top, and the owner was very easy to work with and responsive. A quick 10 minute walk takes you to the Waldorf Astoria gondola, which takes you to the Canyons base, though it is a slight hill so do it in sneakers and not ski boots. The Canyons itself is one of the best resorts in the country... great conditions, food and staff, and terrain for days. I recently rented this home with 15 friends for Sundance, and it made the perfect home base for the festivities. The layout accommodated comfy sleeping arrangements (big, soft beds with clean, crisp linens) for all, and between the two sitting areas, we had plenty of space to lounge. The kitchen is well designed and fully stocked with any utensils you'd need (including knives that are actually sharp - a rental home rarity!); the hot tub is easily accessible; the multiple fireplaces keep things cozy. And the whole of the home is tastefully and attractively decorated. While getting to Park City or Deer Valley resorts isn't super easy via the shuttle if you're carrying gear, skiing at The Canyons is super easy. Between the home and incredibly friendly, helpful owner and property manager, you can rest assured that you'll have a great stay at this property.Owner response: Thanks Sarah, so glad you enjoyed your time in PC and at our Mountain House. We stayed in this home during Christmas week 2012. It was a fantastic home - complete with everything that we could ask for. Everything was very new and fresh. The room layouts were perfect for our group of 16 people. It was great to have 2 separate family rooms - one for the teens and one for the adults, when needed. We have rented houses for many years and this was one of the best that we have rented. Hotel quality bedding, brand new kitchen, etc. It is just a few blocks away (uphill) from the Waldorf lift and the hotel, in case you want to use the spa. This lift goes directly to the base of the Canyons, which made it simple for everyone to return home each day whenever they liked - esp since there was a keypad door, so no one needed a key. It is also just one easy block away from a fantastic hiking trail, for those non-skiiers. Note, you cannot walk to any stores from this house, but there is a nearby shuttle bus. A property manager was ready for any questions we had. A really perfect house.Owner response: Thank you for the kind comments.
