Spent two weeks at this fabulous LAKE CABIN! Was like being at your grandparents cabin. Nice and clean with all the amenieties you would need. Nothing fancy, just a great cabin at the lake. We slept two families comfortably, everyone got a bed. Kitchen was perfect for cooking meals, and the bbq was a nice touch as well. Boat dock was freat for relaxing on and held our 24 foot boat and three jet skis just fine. Mornings on the deck enjoying coffee and the fantastic view were a daily requirement. Having Cavanaugh resort within walking distance was nice for the few meals we did not feel like cooking or just for hanging out. I can honestly say I would recommend this cabin to anyone who is looking for a quite, convienant place to enjoy all Priest lake has to offer. Hoping to rent it again next year!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 1967
About the owner: My grandparents bought this cabin in 1967. I have spent every summer of my life enjoying this cabin and have wonderful family memories of boating, water skiing, swimming, big family dinners on the deck, and bonfires.
Why the Owner Chose Cavanaugh Bay:
I now live in Wyoming and still use the cabin for a few weeks out of the summer with my family.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
One of the many updates I have made to the cabin over the years is to modernize the kitchen appliances to make entertaining easy. Installing a good dishwasher and disposal, among other things, makes meals simple and fun so everyone is on vacation!. Also, a W/D is absolutely necessary at the lake! The cabin is very close to the water so you can easily be in the kitchen and have full view of the family on the dock and can easily holler down to see if anyone needs anything. Fun family restaurant just a half mile walk at the end of the bay. Live music on the weekends!
