  My friends and I would recommend Dan and Erin's place in a heartbeat. We had a fabulous stay there! The apartment was high spec, well maintained, very clean and the perfect accommodation for four ladies on a road trip. The beds were so comfortable (including the futon, which was amazing!) and the amenities top notch, we had no complaints. Dan and Erin have done a fantastic job of converting their garage into such a cool space! The location is also perfect - close to the bus into downtown and within a ten minute taxi ride (or half hour walk) to SoCo. From the booking process through to our actual arrival nothing was too much trouble for Dan - he really was the perfect host! We arrived during SXSW, which was pretty overwhelming, but Dan gave us great recommendations and marked our map with the cool and fun places to go. We really felt confident that we were making the right choices to make the most of our stay in Austin. My friends and I absolutely loved the city and would actually relocate there if we could - we particularly loved the shops and eateries around the SoCo area. We also enjoyed Dan's recommendation of Kerbey Lane Cafe, where we ate a fantastic brunch! We also had a fun night at the Continental Club in SoCo and a great meal at Hula Hut, which has stunning views across the Lake. We would all love to go back to Austin asap and would definitely pay Dan and Erin a visit when doing so!

  My band and I recently stayed at Dan & Erin's during SXSW. It was such a pleasure to have a sunny, clean, comfortable home to return to each night after the craziness of the music festival. We loved the red, black and white decorating scheme too – it provided a great backdrop for a live stream interview we conducted from the apartment! We really couldn't have asked for more...we went jogging throughout the neighborhoods in the morning, bought snacks & breakfast basics at the CVS around the corner (they even had wine & beer!) and walked around the corner to catch a bus into downtown. Our lovely hosts also provided us with plenty of clean, fluffy towels and very comfortable air mattresses. We really appreciated that they gave us privacy but were available in-person or via text when we needed them (I accidentally blew a fuse, which was remedied in an instant.) They even brought over fresh smoothies one morning. There are a lot of thoughtful touches at this place – french press for coffee, toiletries provided, a keyboard for group singalongs, friendly cats outside, a spacious porch perfect for hanging out early mornings or late nights. Dan & Erin were personable, charming hosts and we left with hugs and promises to return. I hesitate to rave about this place any more for fear it will be booked constantly (as it should be!) and won't be available for us to rent in the future!!!

  I stayed here with my (7 person) band for the music portion of SXSW and we had a great time! Firstly, Dan and Erin are awesome hosts! They greeted us with wine and smiles and helped us out with everything we needed during our stay--from tips on getting around Austin to fresh towels when we needed them--and were always on hand to answer questions. The house itself is gorgeous--lots of sunlight and a big, lovely space that 7 people can sleep, eat, lounge and work in comfortably. Everything is new and clean and modern but it really also feels like a home away from home, too. My favorite part is walking out onto the balcony to have coffee and just enjoy the sun, trees and quiet (it's in South Austin, very close to but far enough away from the SXSW chaos). Torchy's, Joe's and a number of other awesome Austin eats are also a very very short drive away from here. We will definitely come back next year and recommend this place to anyone looking for a chill, super comfy place to bunk for a weekend or a week in Austin.

  Recently traveled through Austin on business and stayed in this new apartment. The place is delicately furnished and well maintained. Full kitchen, refrigerator, dishes, pots/pans, and tea kettle. No detail was overlooked in the construction, all the way down to the cabinet/drawer hinges that elegantly slow down to prevent slamming. The apartment gets excellent light in the Fall, thanks to the large windows, and the surrounding towering trees made it feel like a deep-woods vacation escape. There's a closet full of board games and a miniature accordion. A modest library contains the classics, and even a few books on quantum physics (if you fancy some light reading). Dan and Erin were gracious hosts, and even offered to cook dinner. The location is great, right around the corner from excellent restaurants and an herbal remedy shop. Highly recommended spot for anyone coming to/through Austin!

  My husband and I stayed here for two weeks while we looked for an apartment in Austin. First of all, what gracious hosts- Dan and Erin are lovely, accommodating, and know Austin very well if you're looking for recommendations. The apartment itself is modern and chic with gorgeous cathedral ceilings, lots of light, and has everything you'll need to be comfortable for a few nights or a few weeks. And you can't beat the location- whether you're in town for ACL, SXSW, Formula 1, or just on vacation, you're within walking, biking, and/or a short driving distance from such Austin institutions as The Alamo Drafthouse, the shops on South Congress, Zilker park, and tons of great bars and restaurants. To get downtown is a 5 minute drive or cheap cab ride. We loved this neighborhood so much, we found an apartment close by. 5 stars all around!

This Short Term Rental Agreement (the “Agreement”) is made by and between Daniel Burton (“Homeowner”) and _____________________ (“Guest”) as of the date last set forth on the signature page of this Agreement. For good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency of which is acknowledged, the parties hereby agree as follows: 1. Property: The property is located at: 2108-2 Thornton Rd, Austin, TX 78704 The property is furnished and includes furniture, linens, towels, basic supplies and ammenities. 2. Rental Party: The rental party shall consist of Guest and the following persons: _______________________________________________________________________ 3. Maximum Occupancy: The maximum number of guests is limited to 6 persons. 4. Term of the Lease: The lease begins at 4 p.m. on ____________ (the “Check-in Date”) and ends at noon on ________________ (the “Checkout Date”). 5. Minimum Stay: This property requires a 2 night minimum stay. Longer minimum stays may be required during holiday periods. If a rental is taken for less than 2 days, the guest will be charged the 2-night rate. 6. Rental Rules: Guest agrees to abide by the Rental Rules attached as Exhibit A at all times while at the property and shall cause all members of the rental party and anyone else Guest permits on the property to abide by the following rules at all times while at the property. 7.
