  Wonderful getaway! Property owners were great to deal with. House exceeded expectations - very well kept and much better than any hotel we could have stayed at in the area. The neighborhood is very quiet and friendly. Sound is block away and ocean access very close. Also close to shopping, dining, and local attractions. Will request this property for our next OBX vacation!

  All the information in the listing was accurate. The home was exactly as pictured. Comfortable and cleaner than any hotel I have ever stayed at! My kids 14 and 7, my fiance, and I throughly enjoyed our stay. The home is located close to all the OBX attractions. Make sure you fly kites on the sand dunes at Jockey's Ridge State Park. I recommend wearing some bug spray if going in the evening. I would also recommend taking a drive down Highway 12, over the Oregon Inlet Bridge, and down the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. You can park and take a walk down the coast. As far as we could see, either direction only 3 people besides ourselves were on the beach. We saw about 20-30 dolphins swimming along the shore about 40 yds out. It was AMAZING. The dolphins were jumping and playing with one another. We recommend this property to any of our family or friends, as well as anyone else who wants a quiet, clean, wonderfully located, and well maintained home away from home.   This is the a pretty awesome house! Wonderful location close to shopping, food lion, and the beach! Everything is just a short drive or walk away! We will be staying again soon!

  The location of this property is amazing. The house is near a great playground that my 9 year old enjoyed very much. We were within close proximity to restaurants, grocery stores and shopping. We were very close to the Wright Brothers Museum and not too far from the NC Aquarium and Lost Colony. The house itself is beautiful and clean. There are plenty of areas to sun bathe and enjoy the outside air. The hot tub was an added bonus. The neighborhood is quiet and family friendly. I would recommend this vacation rental to anyone with a small family or a couple looking to get away. We had the most relaxing time at Hayman House.

  We enjoyed our long weekend at this cozy and comfortable house. It is located on a quiet street yet convenient for shopping and sightseeing. The house has been well cared for and is tastefully decorated, just a pleasure to be there. Melissa is great to work with and we are looking forward to a return trip!

  We had a great time. Melissa and Jeff were very accessible and reserving the home was easy. We arrived to a very clean house with the day's newspaper ready and the hot tub running. Everything about the home was pleasant, including the location. We were about a block from the sound with its piers, a few blocks from a small park, and maybe half a mile from the ocean (although it was too cold to hop in). The main shops were easily drivable, and the marathon course was visible from the front yard. There were no problems with any of the utilities or appliances, and we made use of everything. The kitchen is stocked with everything we needed too. The outdoor space, including the top deck, was very comfortable and had space to play. We don't typically make it down to the Outer Banks, but we'd definitely rent this home again.

  This house is just as it looks in the pictures. It was very clean and super comfortable. We loved all the decks and the hammock swing. Watching the sunset from the gazebo down the street was breath taking. The owners were wonderful to work with and we are super pleased with our week long stay there. Our six year old daughter also loved the house and was super sad the day we had to leave! We hope to come back sometime in the future!

  This is an adorable home. Very clean and detailed. Everything you could possibly need for a relaxing weekend. Quiet neighborhood. Great playground down the street. Ocean access very close. Sound access just steps away. Description is very accurate if anything,, understated. Owner was very pleasant to deal with!
