My girlfriend and two kids (aged 9 and 11) stayed at this unit in Mexico Beach and had an easy and relaxing trip. Highway 98 is relatively undeveloped with a few nice gift shops. We particularly loved the Frost Pottery Garden and Gift Shop which was in short walking distance. The beach was beautiful and was exactly as the VRBO write-up represented it - just across the street and easily accessible. It was great to borrow the beach towels, umbrella and chairs from the condo unit so we didn't have to drive those things down from Atlanta. The kitchen pots, pans and utensils provided us with everything we need to cook our meals; and there was even a blender - woohoo! The beds were comfortable and the pool and hot tub were wonderful. I loved the front door technology that allowed us to program a 3-number door pin to unlock the door so we didn't have to carry keys around. We will definitely come back and would recommend this rental unit to anyone.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This condo fit us to a "tee". We especially enjoyed the hot tub and drinking our coffee on deck each morning as the sun rose to greet us. The condo must be sound-proof, since we never heard the neighbors or any pipes from running water, so it made for a very peaceful and quiet stay. We made breakfast for ourselves every morning at the condo and found everything we needed. The beach is just a short walk away so there was no problem in getting there quickly. We highly recommend this condo if you are looking for a place to stay in beautiful Mexico Beach. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful condo with us and for making us feel right at home.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: I am so glad you enjoyed your time there. It is always great when people visit Mexico Beach to take advantage of the sports and recreational activities and I was glad Dream Catcher could be your home base. Let me know if you want to come back and visit. We'd love to have you.

The condo is exactly as pictured. It was extremely clean, nicely decorated, and has everything you need. The beds were so comfortable, we didn't want to get up in the morning! We ended up with chilly weather, so we spent more time in the condo than we normally would have. It was very easy to make ourselves at home there. It's a short walk to the beach - only 3 minutes, and a slightly longer walk to get to the pier. April was very easy to deal with, and very prompt with sending the necessary information for the rental. Her detailed welcome kit is very helpful! We will definitely try to stay here again!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
Owner response: So glad you enjoyed your visit! Please let us know when you need some beautiful beach time!

Wow! What a beautiful condo! The pictures on this profile must be old because the master and guest bedroom look much better in person than in the photos. I think it has been painted and updated since the photos were taken. We had an absolutely wonderful visit and hope to come down again this fall. It was just my husband and me, but we feel we got a tremendous value for such a comfortable, luxurious place. I would say it felt like home, but it was so much better! The kitchen had everything you could think of -- all top quality. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Exactly what we needed to relax. From soft towels to one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in, you made us feel so at home -- but better! We made a last minute reservation and the owner made it so easy! Hope we can come back this fall. Please?!!!Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Glad you liked it! After I read your comment, I updated the photos. Thanks for the reminder! Let us know next time you need some beach therapy... we'll leave the light on for you!

This was our fourth trip to Florida with our twins. I felt safe vacationing without my husband as the property is a gated community. It is close to restaurants and shops. We usually vacation on 30-A, but I love this community. I run and felt very secure running in the neighborhoods surrounding the condo. The condo is very well-maintained and has everything you require to enjoy a vacation. I mainly cooked breakfast as we were vacationing with four other families and spent most of our evenings with them. I loved the view from the balcony in the mornings and late afternoons. Perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine or begin the day with a cup of coffee. The beds were extremely comfortable and my twins said they were like "sinking into a cloud." We did not utilize any of the beach chairs, etc., but the closet is stocked with chairs and pool accessories. We actually left a float we had purchased in the closet because it took too long to deflate. We ate dinner at Toucan's and the Fish House and had lunch one day at Beach Pizza. The kids all loved the snowcones at Tommy's which is almost directly across the street from the condo. We also spent one day at St. Joseph Peninsula State Park and I highly recommend a trip to this beautiful beach. Be sure to pack a lunch, drinks and snacks. There are restrooms a few steps from the beach at the Eagle Harbor access and they do have a little convenience store that has great strawberry and orange frozen drinks. We took a trip to Panama City Beach to Captain Anderson's for a sunset dolphin cruise and observed a few dolphins and everyone enjoyed feeding the seagulls. We also attended the Port St. Joe Scallop and Music Festival and had an awesome time. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone desiring to vacation in Mexico Beach. This was our first time to rent through VRBO and the process was effortless. The owner was a dream to work with and very knowledgeable. We definitely hope to return next summer. If you are from Texas, this location is worth the drive time of 13+ hours. We are a few short hours (by air) to the beautiful beaches of Cozumel and Playa del Carmen, but the beaches in this area of Florida are just as beautiful. On a final note, this condo is located in the Central Time Zone, but if you travel just a few miles east, your cross into the Eastern Time Zone. It caused us a little confusion as three families were actually in the Eastern Time Zone.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

The condo was perfect for our family of 4 -- with all the conveniences of home and so much more! The outside deck looked directly out onto the canal and the beach was a short walk across the street. The condo pool was great to come home to after a day at the beach. And when they say the kitchen is a fully stocked "cook's kitchen" they are not kidding. Every cooking utensil and spice you could need is there. The beds are comfy, the decor is excellent and it just feels like home. Looking forward to our next family vacation because we know where we are headed!!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

This is a beautiful condo with nice neighbors and tall the comforts of home. We spent 5 days lounging around, playing at the pool and lying on the beach. My almost 13 year old son and his new step dad had fun at the arcade down the street while my sisters and I hung out at the pool and condo watching TV. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy a family vacation without all the hooplah of the "Spring break" gang. Love it and hope to return one day! :0)Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Location is great! New property that is well maintained and facing canal. This is Our second stay and were happy to celebrate our 15yr anniversary at this comfortable condo. Pool with grill and seating area allowed us to enjoy the night too. Cant say enough. Visited Destin for a day at the spa..only 1.5 hr drive. Lovely time..look forward to our beach home every few months.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: I am so glad you enjoyed your stay and we look forward to welcoming you many times to your "home away from home". We appreciate the good care you took of the condo. For future reference, you don't need to drive all the way to Destin for a great spa day. There is a fabulous spa in Port St. Joe -- only 15 minutes away where they will pamper you and make you feel at home. I have the contact info in our "welcome kit". Panama City (30 minutes away) also has some very nice day spas. Regardless, you are always welcome to enjoy Dream Catcher Vacation Condo whenever you can get away!

About the owner: We love Mexico Beach and spend as much time here as we can. Though our kids are mostly grown(!) we still enjoy family time here. We love the fishing and boating out in the Gulf and spend our days fishing in St. Joe Bay, collecting shells along the beach and looking at the stars at night. Tommy T's Ice Cream and Game Room (kids fun!) is right across the street, so we often buy an ice cream cone and then walk out on the fishing pier to see what the fisherman are catching.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
This condo has it all -- a large swimming pool with plenty of lounge chairs, a short walk to the beach, and a beautiful view of the canal to enjoy while you sip on a margarita on the balcony.
Chris and I have painted almost every room of the condo to soothing sea colors and enjoyed designing a mosaic sea glass tile mirror for the kitchen. This is our home away from home and we hope you'll enjoy it as much as we do.
