This is an ideal vacation cottage a couple looking for a romantic get-away or a family or group of four. Enjoy waterfront views, private beach access and a great location within walking distance to a park with picnic pavilions and a playground and several terrific restaurants. Lake County is known for its wineries and you can visit several of them just a short drive away. We are about 45 minutes from downtown Cleveland and an hour from Cleveland Hopkins Airport.
In-home amenities include a kitchen with dishes, pans and utensils and a spacious deck with a grill and picnic table.
Shipwatch Cottages is perfect for small family get-aways or large family reunions and can host up to 63 guests at once. Positioned in the heart of Madison-on-the-Lake the cottage is fully furnished to make your stay comfortable and relaxing.

We rented the Trippe cottage which was wonderful. The cottage was very clean and nicely furnished. There is a big deck overlooking the lake which we made use of every day for sun bathing, reading, relaxing and just enjoying the lake views. I can't wait to visit Lake Erie again and stay at one of the Shipwatch cottages - I highly recommend these to anyone looking for a great place to stay on Lake Erie. Thanks Barabara and Bob for making our stay so enjoyable!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Porcupine's rates start at $75/night in off-season; $900/week in prime season. Shipwatch Cottages rent by the week in prime season (April - August). Sunday to Sunday. Weekend, weekly and longer-term rentals available in off-season. Call for off-season rates.
