Stayed at the MLR from Sat to Sun for our 4year anniversary. Perfect location – 5min stroll to beach and restaurants. Apartment really modern and super clean, we were tempted to eat from the floor but instead went for dinner at “The Pavilion”. We felt really welcomed by the owner Dot, who was very helpful with our dinner decisions and recommended some fabulous wineries at Red Hill (20min drive) which we followed. Complimentary bottle of water, choccies on the pillow, the lovely continental breakfast and especially the late check out made the stay very delightful. Dearest Dot, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at McCrae Lighthouse Retreat. True to your tagline, we are finding it very hard to leave! Thank you so much for the thoughful details such as books and toys for our young child. He exclaimed in surprise "My own playroom!" :-) The tasteful decor, the impeccable cleanliness, the lovely breakfast set out in the fridge - We loved it all.
