This charming,cut-above,non-smoking, contemporary home perched on the edge of beautiful Brighams Cove offers lovely views from every window. This is the 3rd year it's been rented and visitors have told us it was much more than they ever expected.
It is within minutes of numerous amenities such as beaches, state parks, museums, theaters, shopping, antiquing, etc....yet situated on a dramatic, quiet wooded site. Located within an hour drive for easy day trips to points of interest such as Boothbay Harbor, Freeport (home of L.L. Bean) and the historic Old Port in Portland for an active night life.
Immediately outside the floor to ceiling windows lies the quaint picturesque Brighams Cove dotted with motorboats, sail boats and lobster boats. There are water views from most rooms and truly breathtaking!
The focal point of activity is the large sun deck overlooking the cove with panoramic views of the islands of Winnagance Bay. The deck leads down to a private pier and float for a relaxing day of boating, fishing and swimming in the deep water cove, known for having the warmest waters along the Maine coast. (Down East Magazine).
Immediately upon entering the home you are in the tiled foyer overlooking the open concept living room and the water beyond. The galley kitchen overlooks the living dining area. The vaulted ceiling rises to the open second floor master bedroom with its fully contained bathroom, including soaking tub/shower and pedestal sink. The master bedroom is complimented with a small viewing balcony to enjoy the ocean breezes and the lovely views. This home is truly pristine inside & out and has so many wonderful amenities. You will not be disappointed!
The first floor bedroom off the living area is clearly a favorite. Its panoramic views take in Perrys Cove, Brighams Cove, and Winnagance Bay with a turn of the head.
The hot tub off the living area is a great place to relax. It is perched on a rock cliff under a huge pine tree with panoramic views of Brighams Cove and Winnagance Bay. At night the lights of Cundy's Harbor can be seen across the bay.
