Owner response: The unit does not have a safe. It did at one time. The ad on VRBO still had it listed and it has now been removed from the ad. Regarding the cleaning fee, that is an extra charge but it is optional. The rate does include sheets, pillow cases, and a basic amount of towels and wash cloths. The rate also includes all taxes and fees.
Just got back from a great stay at this beautiful Myrtle Beach condo! The owner was very nice to deal with! The condo is in a great location and just a short walk to the beach! We will definately be returning! Thanks for a great trip! :)

Tony, We were quite taken with the property and enjoyed our stay. The location was great. The beach was wonderful. You thought ahead to have items there that we could use. We could not have found the place without your directions since the rental realty did not even say how far from the airport the unit was! We did have two concerns. The hot water heater is very rusty at the bottom and looks as if it will rust thru at any minute. We had a similar experience on our rental house but thank goodness it wasn't on the 4th floor! Also a large cockroach visited the bed one night which did not set well with us. It seems a bit musty in there so we left an air freshener. We are trying to decide if we liked the area and are going to try Corpus Christi TX which is a little closer to us to drive to. Thank you for the great and the chance to visit.

Owner response: Thanks for your honest feeback. The water heater was in fact nearing its useful life and has now been replaced. The large cockroach was probably a Palmetto bug. I don't recall seeing one before inside the condo, but I understand not wanting to share the bed with them. We will be staying in the condo the last weekend of August and plan to address issues (including any musty smell), as well as, work on improvements and upgrades at that point.
We stayed here just last week, and had a great time. I would encourage others who have a budget to stick to, like we did, to stay here. The same units rent for over $120 a night if you go straight through Ocean Creek. Ocean Creek is close to great restaurants and shopping, but once you go through the private gate entrance its like you're "away from it all" as well. This unit was clean, all in working order (there was a problem with the water heater, but it was taken care of and replaced promptly), the bed was comfy and my young children slept on the sofa bed in the living room.

Nice condo, great price, easy to work with
Nice condo, great price, easy to work with
Owner worked with me last minute, answered all my questions and responded immediately to all my inquiries. The condo is just as shown. Bed was comfortable and condo was clean. There were 2 beach chairs, an umbrella and some beach toys in a storage closet. Plenty of dishes, glasses and utensils. I can't comment on the pans as we didn't cook and I didn't open all the cabinets. The grounds are very nice and well kept. The only downside is it is quite a walk to the beach when you are carrying a lot of stuff. There is a tram that circles the property all day but they never seemed to be around at the exact times we were coming and going. The walk is not bad though if you don't have a heavy cooler. Maybe a half mile including the walkway over the dunes. Barefoot Landing (lots of resturants, shopping, etc) is right across the street. And anything else you could want is close by also. I would definitely stay here again.
