This is an absolutely beautiful home to spend the week in! We celebrated our 10year wedding anniversary fishing and golfing and relaxing! The English's have left no detail untouched for us! Thank you and we hope to come back again!

Our stay in the English's lake home has created memories that we all will treasure. The home itself is a visual treat with stunning views of Badin Lake and the Uwharrie Mountains. The architecture and design of the house is stunning and the maintenance is immaculate. Our group of 11 was very comfortable, as the house has more than ample room to spread out. The main floor had lots of seating (three areas) and great views of the lake from inside as well as the huge deck. The lower level is where the kids wanted to stay because of the convenient access to the lake and the comfortable family room. Upstairs the master suite with huge soaking tub and private balcony was a treat and gave us even more beautiful views of the lake. The kitchen was well equipped, and the refrigerator provided lots of ice during the hot days. We were pleasantly surprised that civilization was not too far away (a new Wal-Mart Express in Richfield came in handy) but we felt like we were a million miles from our ordinary routines. I am looking forward to another stay at this slice of heaven on earth as soon as possible. Linda has been a pleasure to deal with and I would recommend her and this property to anyone interested in a lake retreat.

It has been a pleasure for our family and our friends to stay at your house with this beautiful lake view. All of our friends now have your information to contact you in the near future. This has been a great vacation time for our family and especially because my husband will be getting deployed soon and he will be bringing with him very special memories as well as for our kids. I just spent three nights at this home with Family and friends and we loved every minute of it. The house ia so well decorated and maintained that we were all taking pictures so we could bring some ideas back with us. I would reccomend this house to everyone!. The views of the lake are great from all floors and it is great to just relax on the dock in the middle of the afternoon or late at night. Even with several couples there is still plenty of room and privacy.

We just returned from a vacation at this beautiful home. It was very nice and had all of the comforts of home. It definately did not feel like a rental home felt more like home. Had gorgeous views and was wonderfully decorated! The only concern was the dock needs some repair but the owners are aware and are planning on doing this. The owners are SUPER NICE and I would definately rent from them again!

Your home is magnificent. The view is Breathtaking. We had a fantastic week long stay. The weather was perfect. It was so nice to get out of the humidity in Southwest Florida. The week was everything we hoped it would be and more. We will definitely be back. Maybe for good someday.

Dear Linda & Al, Your home was perfect for our family. Our plan was to spend some quality time with our 3 children & 2 granddaughters. Your home made that possible & even more. Our sons loved the opportunity to fish each weekend and our daughter loved preparing meals in your well equipped kitchen. Our granddaughters loved having their "own room" just like at home. Your home is beautiful and shows how warm its owners are. Having the boat dock allowed our son to bring his pontoon boat here so we could have "lunch criuses" Nothing compared to the beautiful sunrises and colorful view of autumn leaves. You have an ideal spot on the lake. We had our oldest son'e 40th B-day party here & hope to return in 2011 when the next has their 40th. Thanks again for a beautiful memory. We'll keep in touch. Have a very Merry Christmas.
