Year Purchased: 2009
About the owner: I grew up in Mertzon, Texas which is 30 miles West of San Angelo. Mertzon is a small ranching community full of good people with even better values. I work on the engineering side of the oilfield and therefore travel a lot, leaving my condo open to guests for venues in Austin or somebody just wanting a weekend away. I attended Midwestern State University, a small college based in Wichita Falls, Texas. I live for family, football, hunting and some early morning lake time.
Why the Owner Chose Other Austin Properties:
Perfectly nested in the hill country, not too far from downtown but far enough out where you don't deal with the traffic or the congestion. You can lounge by the pool, visit Emma Long Park located just minutes from the condo, eat at Steiner Steakhouse or just relax on the balcony and enjoy the view.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
I love my condo for many reasons, one is that I can put the boat in Lake Austin just minutes after I latch onto it. I love the views from both the balcony and the pool, you can see the city but it's not suffocating you. I can throw my mountain bike in the truck and be at one of the dozens of trails the Austin area provides within 30 minutes. I love the wood floors and the marble counters throughout the condo, it really makes the place stick out above the other properties.
