This house was perfect for our long weekend away with our friends. We had 7 people stay here comfortably during the NCAA basketball tournament. We had plenty of room to spread out. We were within walking distance to campus and a long walk to 4th Street Live. The home was clean and as described. We would stay there again. The only improvement that we would recommend is to upgrade the television in the family room, it was pretty tiny for 7 seven of us to watch a basketball game.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our family of seven was very comfortable in this house. The kitchen is small, but had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable with really good quality cotton sheets (a pet peeve of mine). Overall, the Victorian style was cool, but not overdone. The location was perfect-- less than two miles to the Expo center where we were working and close to dining, parks and downtown activities. We LOVED the Shakespeare in Central Park festival that was going on while we were here. Central Park is about a block and half walk-- we had cocktails while watching a really funny "Compleat Works of Shakespeare" performance. We also took the Old Louisville Walking tour one afternoon-- it was great to learn so much about the historic houses. For the price, I don't think we could have gotten a better deal for a four bedroom, four bath place in Louisville.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thanks for choosing our home! The Summer Shakespeare program in Central Park runs in June and July only.
