The beautiful property is full of amazing greenery and tall Cedars, which can be enjoyed from the hot tub on the back deck. The front deck is equipped with a BBQ for fun in the summer. When the cooler temperatures hit, the view can still be enjoyed from the living room with floor to ceiling windows. The floor plan is wide open with plenty of room for the whole family. The wood work inside is warm and inviting, as is the wood burning fireplace. (We provide the wood!)
The large entry way has storage for skiis and winter gear. Also downstairs, are the two Full bedrooms and one of the two bathrooms. The full bedroom, full bathroom, and twin bunk beds are upstairs, with a comfortable seating area and brand new flat screen tv. After a long day of hiking, skiing, or any of the other many activities Mt. Baker has to offer, come back to the Chalet and relax, play board games or darts. It is a great place for the whole family.

We enjoyed our stay at Fern Lodge. The house was comfortable and spacious, and had exactly what we expected. The log fireplace kept us warm and comfortable; and we enjoyed playing games and using the hot tub. It was nice to get away, but it is important to know that there is no cell coverage, so if it is important to be reached you will need to give out the land line number or use the wi-fi at the community room. The only thing missing was a 'welcome' book explaining how to let visitors into the community gate, as we arrived in seperate cars and it would have been nice to know that you can let other cars into the gate remotely.
