The cottage has hardwood floors, an IKEA kitchen,a beautiful front deck and yard. High ceilings french doors It is two blocks to Santa Monica and 20 minutes to UCLA. LAX is a 15 minute ride and Loyola Marymount is 10 minutes. Penmar golf course is a 5 minute walk from the house and Westchester driving range is 12 minutes drive. There is hiking and mountain biking in the Santa Monica mountains and polo is played Will Rogers State Park. Malibu is just up the coast highway about 15 minutes drive. In the Marina, 5 minutes from here, you can rent a kayak, learn to ocean kayak, rent a paddle board, learn to sail, or row. Its a lovely place to visit

I only stayed at this rental for 3 weeks but enjoyed my stay quite a bit. I am not familiar with Venice or LA as I am from the Bay Area but this location was great, close to freeways, close to downtown Santa Monica and close to some great restaurants, cafes and grocery stores. Also walking distance to the beach! The unit itself was perfect for my co worker and I. We had plenty of space and everything we needed to set up our in-house office. The unit comes equipped with cooking utensils, which was also nice as our stay was temporary and we weren't bringing those supplies with us. I would definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Pet owners, tourists without a car.

I stayed at this property for a 1 month stint for work, the neighborhood and the price was just right for my budget and target audience. It was a very nice property, with all the amenities (and more) of home. The property owner is just as pleasant, she was very easy to work with and is a sweet lady. The neighborhood is safe and is close to everything you will need. I would highly recommend staying at this property.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.
