My wife, daughter, and myself spent a week at this great apartment. The balcony had an amazing view of the ocean and was a great way to wake up and have our morning coffee. We were supplied with all we needed for the beach with chairs, towels, boogie boards, etc. The Amigo grocery store was nearby and convenient. Also, the rain forest along with horseback riding was just a short 10 minute drive. Even a day trip into Old San Juan wasn't that far awy. This will be our first choice on our next trip back to Puerto Rico and we'll recommend to friends.

We loved this condo, have rented others, this is the best. Pictures don't lie, clean, big, has everything. Grocery store across the street, great restaurants, we had a blast. Everyone we met here was super nice, and helpful. We will rent this one every time!

My wife and I stayed in this beautiful condo for a week during the celebration of our 20th wedding anniversary. The unit is completely furnished with all the necessities, just bring your own clothes, toiletries and a car. The condo has recently been remodeled and has one and a half bathrooms. Both of the televisions were nice and worked well, although, most of our time was spent exploring the east end of the island (also went to Culebra twice) and eating some local cuisine at the Kioskos which is very close by. The view from the large outdoor terrace is amazing. The doors open up completely which creates a nice indoor/outdoor feel. Luquillo is in close proximity to many attractions on the east end of the island and is located approximately 25-30 minutes from San Juan (during non traffic hours). We would like to thank Hector who was only a phone call away if there were any questions or concerns. All in all, this trip was spectacular and we would recommend unit 902 Playa Azul to anyone. You will not be disappointed.

First I would like to say that I have stayed in Luquillo before and I always have had an excellent time when we visit the Northeast part of the Island. This time we traveled for the Fourth of July Holiday and also for my birthday which is on the 5th. There are many things to do in this area and I along with my girlfriend enjoyed every minute of it this time around. If you can take one day and go to the island of Vieques you will not regret this experience. There are beautiful emerald beaches there and the restaurants are world class. We ate at "El Bili" and we had the best Snapper Creole and Conch fish salad we've had in years. Their passion fruit margaritas are not bad either! This is the first time we stayed at Hector's apartment and all we can say is WOW! We loved this modern apartment so much that we're planning in coming back here for our Christmas vacations at the end of this year. It has all the amenities you can think of, like Wi-fi, Huge Flat screen TV's, Surround sound and an amazingly spectacular view of the ocean. My only suggestion for the travelers that are technical handicapped like myself is to get Hector to give you a quick demo on how their whole interactive TV system works that way you don't spend hours like myself trying to figure it out. As far as customer service I can tell you that Hector is only a phone call away and will respond immediately to any questions you might have about anything at all. Can't wait to get back!

The days spent in this luxury apartment were fabulous. This apartment is the perfect place for spending quality time with your companion. Is wonderful to sit in the balcony with good company, a glass of wine and the sunset. If you want to renovate your relationship consider this unit the perfect vacation spot. After this vacation we will consider returning every year.

My family and I came to Puerto Rico and wanted to stay in Luquillo and read reviews on this place. Thankfully, we stayed at the unit based on the reviews and had a great time! The property itself is very modern and in great condtion. The beach is right near by, and there stores nearby from restaurants to a food market! The owner is very helpfully and helped in every way which made our stay that much better. Also, everybody who works there is very polite and helpfully. Overall we had a great visit and would love to stay there again in the future.

On arrival the guard outside the condo building informed us that we had to pay $20 to park our rental car in the lot of the building we had rented our apt in. I was not aware of that fee (I had read reviews before anyone talked about it). REACTION: Not happy. Felt this should either be stipulated on the forms the owner sends you. I don't like surprises. But it was not a vacation killer. When we pulled into lot, the building looks a little old and some areas were rusty. REACTION: OK not what I expected but not a vacation killer. Let me see what the apt looks like. Lord please let the apt be nice! The owner gives you a passcode to enter the apt and when we entered we loved it. I could actually see myself having one of those. It was like we stepped into a new building. The owner must have spent $$$$ fixing up that condo. It reminded me of a little spa. Very contemporary ultra modern everything. The ocean view was beautiful. Now we didn't have coffee on the balcony because we are on vacation we didn't want to do a thing! Besides PR coffee with hot fresh out of the oven bread is to die for SO we would go to the bakery across the main road Carreta 3 to Karibe Bakery. You can ask security guard for the bakery behind the Walgreen's. I am going to miss those breakfasts!!! The security guards were so friendly, they treated you like you lived there. We are not beach people so we didn't go to the beach (we just like the look of it) and we spent our days in my friend's hotel pool in Fajardo so we didn't use the onsite pool. I wanted to stay here because the Kiosks right before you get to apt is one of my fav places to eat, esp La Parrilla #2 where they have great mofongo with creole sauce and shrimp YUMMY (although over the years it does get smaller and smaller & the price higher and higher--must be to pay for the renovations they did to the place LOL) We really just slept here --the bed is a little soft not a temperpedic by any means so if you have a bad back, it might not work for you. Pillows are a little soft as well. There is only an ac in the bedroom and two ceiling fans in the living room --at first I was worried my husband is always hot but it worked out and at night the fans actually cool down the place nicely. Wifi is available. Overall, it is a really lovely hideout! Plus the owner is SUPER attentive when I shared my issues he tried to address them asap and called to be sure we were ok.

I rented this great condo from Hector for my husband's 30th birthday as a surprise and it was perfect. The pictures do not do the view any justice and I have plenty of pics of the gorgeous turquoise water! The condo is about 35 minutes from San Juan airport with about 20 Walgreens, McDonalds, and Wendy's on your way. To keep the review honest, as soon as we parked the car ($20 for the week), I was suspect. Simply because we typically stay at a hotel and this was not as "nice" on the outside. The security guards are friendly and the elevators are nothing to fancy over. However, once you arrive at the door you will have an amazing view of El Yunque (the rainforest) and inside an AMAZING view of Luquillo beach. The apartment is fantastic: modern decor, leather couches, washer and dryer, all kitchen ammenities, SUPER clean and very well maintained. Honestly, the best condo these buildings have to offer. I really can not say enough about how beautiful and peaceful it was inside. There was just enough breeze that we never needed to turn on the AC during the day. The flat screens were AWESOME (we watched our wedding video for the first time in the living room - blu ray player). Hector also includes WiFi, Netflix, and Pandora radio and was always just a call or text away. In short, we almost paid $2,000 for a San Juan hotel (no ocean view) for the week and paid not even half for this condo with a better view and way better amenities. Do yourself a favor: STAY IN THIS CONDO!!! TIPS: If your picky about your pillows: bring your own. The best place to get local food is a roadside BBQ called "El Verde". AMAZING! We are complete foodies and for $18 bucks we got lunch enough for 2 days. Make a right onto RT 3, pass Luquillo beach, and about 2 miles on the left (10-15 minute drive total). Big green place on the left, "El Verde". Visit the grocery store across the street and buy breakfast items. Kitchen is fully stocked to handle most meals and saves you some money. Grab a bottle of wine, some beer, and get ready for an awesome vacation!

Our stay at Playa Azul 2 Condo 347618 was very enjoyable. Modern, updated, very comfortable, nicely furnished with all that you need for a great stay. Just like the website features it. Beautiful ocean view. Wonderful large balcony, with nice furniture to relax and enjoy the view. We so enjoyed eating our meals out there, enjoying the beatiul weather. I would recommend it to a friend or anyone. However, it is not real spacious, but could accomadate four nicely for a shorter period of time. We were there for 6 weeks and it suited the two of us well. It was our first visit to Luquillo P.R. we were well pleased. We would probably rent it again if available for the two of us. Thank-you. Judy. Our owner was so nice very pleasant and helpful.

We were here for the thanksgiving week in 2011. It is an amazing apartment at a great location. The pictures dont do justice to how good the apartment is. It is much better than it looks in the pictures. The huge balcony provides uninhibited view of the ocean. The owner has provided great amenities. There are large screen TVs in the bedroom and the living room (if you find time to watch tv), wifi access, fully stocked kitchen, lots of linen, laundry. The property has a pool, courts for basketball and tennis. It is across the road from the beach on one side and El Yunkue rainforest on the other.

Me and my wife stayed there and we loved it. You wake up each morning to the sounds of the ocean and a magnificent view of crashing waves. Enjoy dinner or breakfast on the balcony. Hector and Edna the ama de llaves was very helpful and paciente when the flight arrived late. The place was very clean and enjoy fresh bread and some nice espresso. Try punto caribe it like fast food but not really puerto rican style.

The propety is marvelous! We spent a weekend (me and my wife) and had a great romantic escape! The apartment is all brand new, with high end tech equipment such as a 55 inches TV and a second flat in the room. The kitchen is a beauty with granite tops and fully equiped! The balcony invites for a glass of champagne enjoying a spectacular view of the beach! The building has a perfect location very adyacent to restaurants. I had no idea that we could have had a little of Miami Beach in Luquillo! Everything was above expectactions! Would lovely comeback soon!!!

When I spoke with the owner on the phone he mentioned that it was the finest unit at the property, and we discovered he was correct. The unit is literally brand new from top to bottom, and done in a very first class way. Rarely do you check into a vacation condo and have a state of the art, 55-inch, surround sound system in the main room, not to mention a 40-inch flat panel on the bedroom wall. From the granite countertops, to the brand new furnishings, to the smartest storage system I've ever seen, we were sad to leave this unit when we departed. Everything matches, and I mean everything... from the latte' maker to the wine bottle opener, from the Tommy Bahama beach chairs to the boogie boards (my wife is a little in love with the owner at this point). The kitchen is completely equipped, the view is fabulous and even the sleeper sofa is comfortable... no kidding! I repeat, this is the BEST unit in the complex and it was a pleasure to stay there. Don't miss out!
